I 100% agree with Antt and Usyk is lucky that he still has those belts, Dubois isn't the greatest fighter in the world but he has power and he smashed Usyk to the body so hard that he thought Putin had hit him with a missile. Usyk's belly went up into his brain..

I'm glad Shawn brought up OverTime Boxing. I watched an event and it was actually really cool. I love the fact that there are no draws and each fighter gets a chance to leave it all on the line.

Because he's crazy tough. He's fought more punchers than any champ, many way bigger than him. He's fought many of the hardest punchers in the sport, amateur and pro, and he's never been stopped. He's never been floored as a pro despite facing a murderer's row of big punchers and KO artists, many way bigger than him. He's one of the toughest fighters ad most mentally strong fighters in the sport and his record attests to that. He's forged a career beating his opponents in their backyards where everything is stacked against him and he literally asks to do this often when many so called greats and no doubt some of them are favourites never dared do that once or refused to do so. That's real mental toughness Just as a pro he's fought all these big punchers or KO artists Gassiev AJ x 2 Dubois Breidis Glowacki Bellew Chisora Hunter Now tell me how many legit big punchers or KO artists the likes or Crawford or Spence have fought, especially their size. And the tell me how many they've fought way bigger and heavier than them? This will be fun And the shot was not right on the belt. Usyk's navel was right at the top of his waistband and I can prove this, the punch landed on the middle and lower of the waistband with a large portion also landing below the waistband and the knuckles are at the bottom of the glove not the top so it all landed bellow the navel. Usyk's trunks were not high, Dubois' were really high. Usyk wears his at a completely normal and the most common height. A low blow doesn't have to hit the nuts to be low. Below the naval is low and Usyk's naval, as said, was right at the top of his waistband. Why do you think women wear protectors too? Because they have nuts?

You just blew your own argument up because you are trying to claim someone as the champion without a count. It's a lot more likely that usyk gets up before 10 than it is likely a fighter wins the championship without s count. None of it matters because it was a low blow, read the rules.

I think the shot was low but JUST. The rule is that it can't be below the belly button and, while Usyk's shorts were covering his belly button, it was the very top of the waistband covering the belly button in the photos and the punch was on the bottom half of the waistband and some of Dubois' fist was even below the waisband. Furthermore, the punch was being driven up so the place where it landed would be slightly lower than where it looks like it landed in the photo. Pundits ringside (such as Barry Jones) have also said they heard the shot hitting the protector, and a shot that hits the protector is obviously illegal (as why would they have a protector for a legal shot). Another difference between this shot and the other body shots Usyk took in the fight is that Usyk was able to take the other ones fine, but this one comoletely floored him, meaning something must have been different about this one (that it hit him on the top of the bladder rather than his body is my best guess). It definitely wasn't a groin shot (although Usyk's protector may have been pulled uo and slammed into his groin as the shot was being driven up), but I think it was a low blow by a small margin.

@ThePorterWayPodcast I Love Usyk. When I first saw the Replay I thought it was unfortunate that it was a FAIR shot. But now I have a Question I don't think many are asking. In seconds Prior, we see Usyk Belly Button (Naval) is RIGHT where the shorts meet the skin... Is that the "Standard" Belt line w/o taking into account of where the boxer wears the trunks? Because After looking at it 4 or 5 times, THEN seeing Usyks choice in Cup... I think It was a (Pending) low blow (if below the naval is low, BUT we're used to seeing shots that high getting called fair we think it's crazy for that to be called low.... *JUST breaking it down... Also, Like Joe Tess said, the Ref should have called a what's low before the bell and we'd have a base line... So what is the DEFAULT baseline? The Cup I mentioned is one of those Pointy Baseball cups, I personally think he got one of his coconuts pinched.... BUT Say it was fair, and a low blow BY TEXTBOOK is lower than the Naval by a considerable amount... I don't think Usyk is the type of man (Character Wise) to be faking like that.... I've never seen that look on his face his whole career... I know he doesn't like Body Shots.... Usyk He's a God fearing Devout Man... (ALSO to FLIP AGAIN, lots of pressure w/ a country on his back... that could make a man do funny things...) So I'm looking at All of it...and I think we need the Textbook placement of where a low is called... Everyone is built different, different size torso's But the Naval is USUALLY where it needs to be... so if that's the line, I hate to disagree w/ everyone... But that Punch was Indeed Lower than the naval (again, the Naval is RIGHT where his trunks meet skin... you can see this... What ya'll think? It's a shame it had to happen... But hell... For Once, that Camp can have a call go their way, or Clean the Sport up all together imo...

Low blow for sure

Why Usyk all of a sudden, a guy who always was a class act, would fake an injury, and he fell INSTANTLY...cmon guys. Some say it was a low blow, some say it wasn't, the ref called it a low blow on the go....live with it. Best man won that night. I'm not a fan of people winning a championship fight with an arguable legal punch.

Sean's explanation of the waistline and what a low blow amounts to, it was the best and most helpful one of the weekend. Meanwhile, what's clear is that ref did an awful job. My feeling: the shot was borderline or.was below the belt. Usyk's never been knocked down as a pro before, so my guess is he would have gotten up. If DuBois had done much in those next rounds, maybe there's an argument for him. But he did not do a lot and ended up quitting. Mentally he checked out and Usyk owned him. Unless you think it was going to be a full knockout from that shot, there's no real argument for DuBois. I just don't see it, myself.

Usyk has been knocked before and it’s always by body punches. Dude is weak to body and my opinion is that it was legal. Fighters don’t pull down their shorts. They always pull them up and above the line. Always. It’s a way of cheating the refs. So wherever the shorts are you can best believe it’s way above the line.

Why not just make it easier and have all fighters wear their trunks with the naval showing? Too much controversy and it can be avoided.

With all due respect to everyone, I believe that ESPN and you guys are vastly overrating Jared Anderson...Of course you guys are correct about him pulling back but my biggest issue is his lack of power for the Heavyweight Division...He is a flashy puncher but he doesnt hit hard enough to get elite fighter's respect needed...It seems to me that he can't crack...Somebody soon is going to be able to walk through his shots...If I were his trainer, Im calling George Foreman and ask what Archie Moore had him doing to build power in his core or somebody like that...I dont know how to explain it but it reminds me of Shawn Porter...He is one of my favorites...A warrior which i why i watch this podcast every week...Great fighter and hall of famer in my eyes, but if he had a punch like Thurman, Porter would be a top 5 welterweight ever...Especially with all of that athleticism and organized aggression...In the heavyweight division, the last thing a fighter needs is an opponent with no fear...Everybody in the heavyweight division at the top level can crack...I don't see a future champion until that changes because it's nothing but hitters at the top

They weren't any higher than dubois' trunks. And that punch was low. It wasn't a liver shot or solar plexus. It was a lower abdomen shot which is why it hurt him.

Legal body shot for the 10-count. Ref bias whole fight - to the point of 'Harrassment', in my opinion. Ref almost yelling, and belittling, at Daniel when the fight resumed in R5; for no reason. Even though pre-R5 and post-R5 is irrelevant, I want to point out more bad behaviour from the Ref - In R9, Daniel was up and ready on the count of '9' and the Ref, in his bias, waived it off and manhandled Daniel to the corner. Really bad. Justice must prevail at Appeal. I hope 'Harrassment' and 'Favouritism'/'Bias' is proved, and, at the very least, a Rematch, but in view of the 'Abuse from the Ref' (in my opinion) - a reversal of decision in favour of Daniel as the Winner of that fight. Because I, unlike most others, do not believe Olexander would have been able to get up, and even if he had got up, a demolition would have taken place.
