The USWNT are all superstars, and I think they know that. So when their options are drop a pass to Megan Rapino, or Morgan they feel pretty confident I think.

As a teen into my adult years I always desired to see a sport's golden age live. I felt such envy for those who watched Babe Ruth, Ted Williams, Mickey Mantle etc...also Dr.J, Jerry West etc. That's why I love female football so much! These are the golden years and we get to see it live. Even the players do not seem to understand how much they'll be idolized in the future and used as a source of inspiration greater than they already have.

Mainly because the Usa has a college set up that is not used anywhere else in the world. So the Usa team are fed players from the college system. In the rest of the world , almost every country that has a womens team , are amateurs. Vlatko is your coach , your best players from the 2019 WC are over 30 , retired, or injured. You've played some of the top 10 / teams in the world and lost. Spain are trained by Barcelona , Germany are 8 time Euro winners and England have the best coach in the world , Euro winners and undefeated in 29 games against the top 20 teams. Golden years is correct , but those years have come to an end. Europe has turned pro . England , Spain and Germany have all beaten the Usa recently. And a new age has begun. The Usa is no longer the power house it once was. Welcome . To the 2023 Womens World Cup. :)

Pugh didn’t even celebrate her own goal. It was the 5th goal of the match and they had basically guaranteed themselves a win at that point. It wasn’t really necessary.

AJ Woods Other teammates acknowledged her goal and gave her high-fives. And we’ve all seen that the USWNT likes to celebrate goals even when they’re up 13-0 so the fact that it was the 5th goal doesn’t seem relevant. Anyway, it was just something I noticed in this game; Rapinoe and Pugh seem to get along fine overall.

I went back and watched this over what I come to realize is that most plays are set up off ball and the one person who was super impressive was that Dunn lady she plays super super smart and sets up most of there goals.

Is it us? Or would it be a phenomenal game if USMNT went against WSWNT? Who would be interested?

As awesome as the 2019 FWWC was, it's crazy to see how outclassed most of the USWNT's opponents are. Granted the 2019 FWWC saw most of the international teams actually give the U.S. legitimate problems, but I think most teams facing the USWNT expect to lose. Lavelle, Pugh, Mewis and Press are going to be a nightmare for every team after Heath, Rapinoe and Morgan are no longer on the USWNT. I hope Heath, Rapinoe and Morgan are around for the 2023 FWWC but if they're not, there's no reason to worry.
