Is it actually so foreign to his Gharana? If it is, how does the Bandish he sings seemingly by Ustad Enayat Khan [his grandfather and Ustad Vilayat's father, or is it another Inayat?] [as per the words, which mention his name] .. or maybe that Bandish was originally made for another Raag and post-adapted

It is a raag familiar to his Gharana, but it goes by another name: Raag Pancham. He mentions this as well.

the problem with all these beautiful beautiful recordings is i can watch and listen to them all day, and probably do just that without ever doing anything else except necessaries; the internet is a source of constant astonishing wonder, thank you so much for posting these, truly!

Yes we have the audio, on another tape which is hall recording and but would be complicated to place exactly in the same location but the sound may vary. I wanted to edit it out but decided to leave it as is. If you like I take out the blank spot.

I would suggest a written note on video to indicate that for about a minute audio is lost and will return. This will be reassuring viewers and they will not try to adjust or rewind/fast forward the recording!
