Sounded like raag Jogiya but may be a hybrid raga. Ustad Bhure is very talented tabla player and knows many traditional things ..

You are right my brother he is Ustad Parvez Paras. A great ustad of music. I donot know where is his academy now but in 1987 it was in Lakshmi Chowk Lahore and I was going there with my friend Younis who was Tabla student of ustaad sahib. I got real fun of classical music. I saw there many great singers and artists coming to him for learning some music and doing some riaz with his hormonium or tabla performance. Few of them are; Late Madam Noor Jahan, Ghulam Abbas, Ustad Tari, Afshan etc.
Mr parass might have lot of knoladge about classical music but he is not classical singer . Buhlli khan saab my frind my passion was very joyful person i have very precious memories the i have spend with him in Lahore may Allah bless his soul he was real legend 🙏❤🙏❤🙏❤

if I am not wrong, in second round of Asthai, Bhulli Khan was forced to show the sum on 12th matra, meaning 4 micro beats before the actual Sum of Aiktala.

something went wrong at the 6th beat, where instead of Na, the next bol Kut was played, which resulted in the shortening of the cycle by one matra, video could be played after 2:00 and listened carefully. Only purpose is to improve our listening and counting ability and music appreciation.
I hope one day someone request Ustad Pervez Paras to sing for us Sool Fakhta. Once I listened. It was wonderfull. If you have a video of Ustad Saheb performing Raag Sool Fakhta please do put in your site. Regards Dr. Mohammad Naeem Butt

@holistic1951 what are you talking about? He is Ustaad Paras. He is singing bc people want to listen to him? if you ask for a permission, it does not make you student. I don't know what kind of background you have but it looks like you have never learned the manner of music. About singing.. i would like to see you singing. Please upload your videos if you have done better or you can do better. This is a classical music..you need to respect what he has...
