Wherever was this Amjad Ali Khan lost to the present times...

It seems that this is the fate of many great indian musicians. Except for Ustad Amir Khan, I do not know any other musician who maintained his or her level above 50 years of age. Musicians in the West retire at their peak . I suppose social welfare allows them to do that.

Just the aalap and jor are worth the price of entry here. If this quality is maintained, this may be one of Amjad Ali's greatest expression of Shree.

Can you upload the video without the very distracting "from the archives of basant bahar"? There are better ways to enforce copyright on KZread without mutilating content.
