    This is one of those 6-0 losses where you play well, but the opponent plays just a little better and the score doesn't reflect it. You tell someone the score and it's wow you got crushed, but in reality the opponent only needs to just edge you out and you can have a blow out match. We all hate the feeling!

    Great vid. Winston I’m nobody to correct you, but you should work on your split step and footwork. You often are stuck staring to the opponent instead of getting back into position and preparing yourself for the next shot. Aside from that you have solid ground strokes and it looks your on the right way to improve. Keep up the content ✌🏻

    very entertaining. i think you are right on the edge of your fitness when you play - to me it looks like your energy drops and you're unable to close out those big moments. i am also working on my fitness as it seems to be the only way I can beat/challenge those players who have more technical skills than I do. PS: Sorry I don't subscribe, i have to many channel subscriptions and your channel would be lost, however it pops into my feed regularly.

    Insane match level for both players. Disagree with other comment about suggesting Majeed should bend his knees on serve. Preserve the knees in the long run as you get older so you can play longer.

    On the positive note, Winston keep playing with players better than you because your level of play will be a 6.0-7.0 player. You move up faster. Stay patient and consistent with it. Sampras did that when he was a junior it payed off and won 14 grand slam title in his 14 year career.

  • @jerryg9581

    @jerryg9581

    2 жыл бұрын

    But Sampras had an all-around game. He didn't rely on just one big hammer. Winston is a terrific athlete with a helluva motor, and seems like a great guy. I think he ought to play entire matches where he doesn't run around a single backhand until he realizes that he doesn't need to do it anymore. He should have more confidence in the bh that he has, but still work on it. Don't fear it. By running around so many bh's he opens up the court for any good player like Majeed to eat him up. Majeed hit to the entire court. Winston hits so many to the middle of the court. Play a better chess game. Move players around, vary speed. I enjoy Winston's enthusiasm but just a hitting harder forehand won't ultimately make him that much of a better player. Tennis is a physical chess game. Play it above the shoulders, imo.

    Majeed better game. Attack the serve more step in closer. Winston needs to improve your serve too many double faults and free points to Majeed. Too much defense needs to control the center more. Winston play more agressive. The player who dictate play and play more agressive wins the match.
