    @dr usama syed had released a video 2021 saying he was quitting dermatology for blockchain. There he had mentioned he didnt completely quit but reduced the work time to one day per week. Now i want to know is he is still working as an attending fulltime or one day per week in new york ???

    Would like a similar video on a doctor from India/Pakistan/Bangladesh matching into such competitive programs. Appreciate this video but Dr Usama has been practising in the UK, and there is a certain gap between doctors who are in South Asia and doctors from 1st world countries applying to the USA.

    is it better to apply for and do sugery-prelims for 1-2 years or is it better to apply for and do 1-2 years of unpaid/paid postdoctoral research fellowships and then apply to for competitive specialities such as plastic surgery, orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery?

    No Indian Medical Graduate will EVER match into Derm or Plastics 😂 You guys will only match IM and FM and work in the rural boonies for decades. If you’re lucky, you’ll get the leftover scraps of fellowships and become a General Cardiologist or a rheumatologist or Heme Onc or Hospitalist. Specialities no one wants. 😂

    This guy isn’t even a proper IMG. UK and Canada Docs are technically IMGs but they are looked at as functionally equivalent to US grads in many ways. Indians will never be looked at in the same light 😂
