Nice selection. I agree wholeheartedly with use of the “comfort” items. Being able to bring a tiny bit of comfort and normalcy during a stressful situation can uplift the morale to keep going. I hadn’t thought of the “force multiplier” idea and I will be adding for sure. Thx brother.
One suggestion, break down the MRE’s. Remove the individual contents from the bulky bag, discard those items that are redundant (the plastic spoon for example) or you don’t want. This will lighten your load and compress it. Awesome video. Just picked up two of the packs.
Thanks for your detailed list-- I know it took a lot of time.--- No shovel? Entrenching tool? No headlamp? -- I see a lot of people with those light sticks, I have them too but I do not understand the purpose. One assumes that if you are using your bag, you are moving. You will eventually "camp" for the night. Once you activate those light sticks they stay on and you cannot "turn them off" as such why use them as they will give away your position.
You have some of the best content when it comes to preparedness, great gear and demonstration. Don’t know why you don’t have much more subs.
Yes! Soap! It is necessary to hygiene and health. Thank you. I’m wondering if the snugpak jungle bag is really similar to a woobie. I got a used marine style woobie at an army/navy store and expect that it will be good for most temperatures in the Northeast when combined with a breathable bivy sack from SOL. Not for dead of winter, but I have another big bag for that. The woobie could supplement that.
Well thoughtful.
And I keep everything on the inside of my bag to I hate when ur out and ur bag is hung up on every freaking branch known to man lol it happens so I like to make sure it doesn't best as I can
Believe that is the Maxpedition Janis. Foot powder and Boudreaux's Butt paste are worthwhile considerations in the hygiene bag.
*Never gets cold in FL is a huge misnomer. I've seen it snow, and it does get down to, or below freezing, most Winters, in Central and North FL. It's also super humid, so temps feel a lot colder than they are, compared to up North. 40° kinda feels like 20° in NY, and you can definitely die of exposure. Cotton clothes can get really damp just from the air, too.
Just a heads up Amazon has the Mora Garberg in stainless for $56 or carbon for $60, thats the cheapest I've ever seen em lol

Great gear selection! What is the zippered pouch that you've got your maps, pens, and compass in?
I'm REALLY getting worried....besides your channel and wise words encourageing us to prepare for difficult times ahead, Dr. John Campbell YT channel has just done a video about FAMINE today...he usually sticks to medical issues and stuff like that but for him to do a specific piece on food shortages and Famine is really disconcerting....I'm at a loss for words at this point.

Humanity has gone through many of the same issues with famine, disease, climate change, resource scarcities, large disastrous wars and geological events. Know your history or you'll be doomed to repeat itself. The world is way overdue for a mass extinction.
I got the same setup other than my canteen pouch and one hydration pouch I use to store food.
Very nice video. Well done well put together pack. So many videos out there with these minimilist packs,to me they are setting themselves up for failure.
You should add a mask like K95 for dust. In case you are in an earthquake or fire or something of that nature. I think one will due.
great video on your kit!! Looking forward to more.....
I have the Aqua Quest Defender 10x10 yes it is heavy but worth it
Idk I like my navigation so I went pretty crazy on it
What bag are you using for your navigation kit? I like the way it's set up. Thanks in advance.
Do you have a brand for the notebook case loving the look of it
What size/thickness is your toiletry ziploc bag? I’m assuming you can get that off Amazon too?
Is their a link to all of these items?
Where did you get your filbe?
Is there any reason you didn't not put a better flashlight?

hiw about a burner phone and credit card to get a hotel. why tf would you be leaving shelter and headed into the woods
Sweet Jesus that is a lot of stuff. WAY too much. The purpose of a BOB is to get you from Point A to Point B... Trim the ounces and the pounds will take care of themselves.
Don't forget your tin foil hat.😂😂😂😂😂
Did you really say your skin will rot off if you don't wash it. I never heard such nonsense. Your skin only rots if your dead or being burned lol otherwise nice video
