*** I was at an Airshow at NAS Oceana in the mid to late 1980s and this Demonstration flight was 99.9% the same, including the bow at the end. Good Work !!!!
This is amazing. I was at NAS Oceana in September 2002 and saw this demo for real and this felt like being there watching it again. Magnificent guys well done!!!

Thank you Raj.... 😉
👏🏽👏🏽 Watching this brings back the nostalgia of me standing a NAS Oceana with my eyes locked on the Tomcats every move!!! Great job guys!

Yep, just commented that I was at a NAS Oceana airshow and the Demo was 99.9% the same, along with the bow. :)
I was a Tomcat tweaker in VF-103 in the mid-90s at Oceana and the USS Saratoga/Enterprise.. This routine is exactly as it was. Good Job!

Extremely proud to be a part of this organization, extremely professional.
Great show gents, nicely done Great flying by Strike and enthusiasm by Spiceman :)
This is why I wanna join these fine aviators, the experience and knowledge they have is something I've been looking for since joining the dcs community in 2019 and i love the guides if i ever got the chance to join them id do it
Spot. On. Well done 👏
Displays Leading-edge Wing *Plays LIVIN ON THE EDGE by Aerosmith* Nice
Awesome, one of the coolest airshow displays I saw was when Australia first received the hornets. They had the Mirage III, F-111 and Hornet all do a max rate and min radius turns. Be nice to see a demo like that with the Tomcat and Hornet if you can :-)
Absolutely fantastic demo! From a former F-14B Pukin Dog, I’ve seen many demonstrations throughout my years and have even “tried” to duplicate only aspects of these air show maneuvers and one cannot describe how much precision and practice is involved even in DCS. Well done and much respect!

Carrier Air Wing Eleven - I’m a pilot, but not a real Tomcat pilot. I can do the basics, but I just don’t have the time to get proficient. I certainly appreciate the gentleman’s DCS skill in the video.

@@darfonegrigsby9798 thank you for the kind words. It did take quite of bit of time to learn the show, then fly it enough to be worthy of a video.
Very nostalgic. The sound on this is excellent. This seemed even more like being there and watching the Tomcat Driver throw her around the sky.

Fantastic video, thanks!
Beautiful!
That last high speed pass, I was pretty certain your jet was suffering a flap/slat lockout, but it wasnt
There are too awesome machines that man created . The Saturn 5 rocket and the f14 . Sorry nothing more bad ass
Very good!!
What a shame we had to destroy these wonderful aircraft to keep parts out of Iran.
YES...!! ✊🏽..🐱🏍 Completely "BadAzz" demonstration in a "BigCat...!!" 🐱👓 As mentioned by everyone else here...!! It takes an 80's Baby to have familiarity with these demonstrations..!! This mirrors both the exact demonstrations from the air shows I recall as a "Youngin,' " 👶🏽 as well as the HeatBlur solo demonstration which was a carbon copy of the real "80's Airshow performances" as well..!!" Phucking Ayyyyeee...!!! 🕹..✈..🤘..😎
What sound pack was used for this? Great video!
Nice work guys!

Nice but DCS deserves a visual upgrade, best flight sim atm hands down
I don’t know much about DCS but I know they have an A4 mod. You see where I’m going with that?
Staying in full afterburner, the F14 will run completely out of fuel in just 8 minutes. Thats 5 gallons per second/33.5 pounds of fuel per second. This is with internal fuel load only. No external fuel tanks.
How do you record Tomcat replays without it bugging out & crashing?
Did u add modded sound to the f14
Outstanding video, however I think you should have used static objects
Great demo..no burner on take off... 14dps? What altitude?

The F-14B/D's did not use AB when on the take off roll. Once in the air, then you can engage them. what is 14dps?

@@strikeeagle345 I imagine degrees per second, or turn rate

@@jshaw3164 oh, right. Good call.
Some factual inaccuracies. F-14 with GE-110 had a climb rate of 50,000+ ft/min as recorded in tests. Also, F-14 could sustain a 20+ degree/second pitch rate through turns. 14 degree/sec is selling its ability to pitch under high G load short. The wing loading 94 lbs per square foot was static without the fuselage factored in. Effectively, with the center pancake generating most of the lift, the effective win loading is only 48 lbs per square foot according to the Grumman VP/Chief engineer himself because most of the lift comes from the airframe. Not the wings.
