next the creator just needs to get multi-threading for the physics engine, as that's why it dies so quickly even on top of the line hardware, it only uses a single thread for physics calculations

Rt cut his several modding attempts, his throwing pipe bombs through the roof, managing to get it to 1 FPS. But, he had to add mods to crash the game. That is the sign of good coding.

Fun fact: a newspaper accidentally published a headline claiming alfred nobel died before he actually did. The headline read: The merchant of death is dead". Alfred Nobel, not wanting to be remembered as the man who sold death to people (Nobel made a fortune off of selling explosives to people, including militaries), reinvested in giving prize money to scientists. That is where the nobel prize comes from.

@@Ake-TL I saw that he had numerous patents for explosives but I cannot say for sure if he invented nitroglycerin. Off to the wikipedia (batsignal away): Nope, it was originally invented by Ascanio Sobrero under Theophile-Jules Pelouze (Theophile is that person's name I think, not some kind of position). You are pretty close though, Alfred Nobel's brother was killed by a nitroglycerin explosion and Alfred himself did work with nitroglycerin. Alfred was the first to make it commercially viable. Not sure if that was the same brother mistaken by the newspaper for Alfred when the newspaper thought Alfred was dead though.

2:35 This is due to constraints on the physics engine. When you destroy something, the game has to check whether the object is connected to ground. It only checks within a certain range of the spot you damaged. Without this limit, the game would momentarily just *stop* every time you smacked a wall.

There's something about the Katamari music faintly playing in the background as the moon slowly rolls atop of you at 6:38 that just feels so perfect

I say, if by the end of the game Monika went about deleting her reality with as much panache as RT and none of the anger, sadness, regret, or any of those human stuff, people probably won't be all that mad of her.

Seriously appreciate you using my mod on stream, seemed to be quite a fun stream. As for "Click to Burn" you just use it to spread fire with your mouse, depending on if paintbrush is on. I wanted to make a small video of a delayed explosive line with 50000 explosives and it ended up taking 50 minutes due to the amount of lag even when set to 10 milliseconds. So I've added a 1 and 5 millisecond delay to the slider, the smoke will probably still kill fps though.

DragonBorn, DragonBorn, by his honor is sworn, to keep evil forever at bay! Seriously though, playing Song of the Dragonborn while chucking pipe bombs was absolutely beautiful.

This is the first time I actually watched a stream, then watched the video a few days later. Man it feels like a whole different thing going on. It’s weird

After having recently watched DangerouslyFunny's videos on this game, I now realize how absloutely chaotic and hysterical it would be to watch the two of them play a destructive game together

Y'know, when I was a lad, _Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight_ Had just come out. Mods sprang up by the time I was in mid-high school. I installed a mod that made the punch throw a *LITERAL SCREEN-FULL* of Force Destruction orbs trailed by Force Lightning. It was so intensive that if there were more than about two other entities on the screen, it would crash my family's computer. The FPS would convert to FPM. I started thinking about this when RT started talking about "click to explode" mods.
