Hey man! Just wanted to say I am in year 12 right now and your videos are so helpful. They explain how to practically apply all the best revision techniques in a concise and clear manner. You definitely deserve way more subs man keep grinding, your production is the same quality as the best KZreadrs out there for studying tips. Thanks so much.

This video is great!, how would you recommend actually revising from the mark scheme as opposed to check listing what’s been taught, should I copy the spec onto flash cards? Thanks,

Hi, so I do cover how to revise using the specification elsewhere in the series. The specification primarily serves as a checklist to make sure you've covered everything from it, there is usually very little information that you can copy from the specification onto your flashcards so it isn't too useful (except for the occasional keywords that they like to use on the specification). The most useful specification for copying details, I found was the Biology GCSE one, the others were most useful as checklists. I hope that helps!

Hello! Thank you for the helpful video. I'm in year 10 right now and wanted to ask how to use the specification to make flashcards, and if that'll be effective? (especially for triple science, history, maybe rs)

I’m quite confused is everything on the specification everything we need to know for exams if so why do teachers tell us other non important info

Hi, I'm not sure, sometimes they teach you extra information because it helps you understand a concept or idea better or helps you do questions more easily but other times, it is quite useless but they think it's cool and generally enjoy teaching. It can be helpful to nicely ask whether it would be on the exam or how you would expect that to come up in a question-form in the exam to make sure

@@RAmjad but wouldn’t you say that using diagrams gives a mental model of what your learning in your head so you know what your studying rather than learning useless info that’s a bit of a burden

A new spec usually comes out every 10 years. I think the last major changes were between 2017 and 2019.

This is ridulous. You need to be using the specification of the exam board you are going to be taking.
