I really like these 2 things about your videos: 1. You keep the traffic going while you’re building; it’s so funny watching the cars lose it when you delete or redirect a road under them 😂. 2. I love that you’re dedicated to vanilla gameplay. Even I am getting frustrated and be like “just use anarchy here!” Your perseverance is admirable.

For being vanilla this is is unreal. Really smart and precise placement of the roads

But you can see he used tmpe to make it work at the end. He changed the lane arrows and junction restrictions a lot, because vanilla setup is actually quite inefficient

I believe this is actually most efficient layout you can have in that game, it can handle insane amount of traffic. That being said, if one wants realism then i would argue that pedestrian walkways are not all that realistic when you look around in the real world. When it comes to real world, generally speaking, its cheaper and safer to build pedestrian walkways under your highways rather than building intrecate bridges over them.

@@Mr-dm5we Not really, he did lane mathematics, like it was 6 lane road then it went down to 4 land before the roundabout, and the right side exit also ended in a highway ramp (one way road), but I can't really tell, it's anyone's guess

I play this game exclusively on PS5. Because I'm too poor for a PC. This is modded with TM:PE. There is no way to stop the one way road that goes from the roundabout to the 4 lane road from not having a left turn/left-straight.

Now's the time I'll overuse it. Definetly is better than my overpass with bus lanes (damn cargo port attracting too much heavy vehicles)

I found somthing out. you can use monorail tracks for a 0.5 unit snapping. it works every time. imperatur love ur vids

Hey awesome tutorials. Can you make a video on a roundabout with roads that are 45 degrees and 135 degrees from each other? Rather than the standard 90 degrees. I think i need to buy an irl protractor to visualize it. Lol

I'm in the process of building this. Got to deleting the corners and placing the 4 way one way roads and it says distance to short, but I can fit a 2 way one way road instead. I tried upgrading to 4 way but it won't let me. Will this still work aswel with the 2 way all around? Great video keep it up

Hi there, I have a question. When you are making a timelapse build video, you're recording a specific area where you are building in and if you go out with you're mouse, the screen doesn't move. The question is, how do you record video's like this?

where do you get the basis to build a junction like that? I also want to try designing some and see how well they do under traffic

At this point all my builds are just Frankensteined with builds from all over KZread

Put it near 60 units square industrial and commercial zone and you see how quick your city dies.

@@imperatur i' m used to build high populatio citues. I always got problem with roundabouts. I use stack interchange with highways and single point divergent interchange for main and collectors.

Is it possible to build an inverted SPUI in vanilla? It seems like it should work but I have yet to see it done.

yo hice una rotonda parecida pero cuadrada y poligonal y es muy eficiente

If you use highway roads instead of normal roads, there will not be any pedestrian crossing or traffic lights, vehicles travel faster too

looks amazing, so i try to rebuild it... und es ist verdammt noch mach riesig ;) wo soll man das denn hin bauen ...

So many cars bypass the slip lanes but then end up going through one corner of the roundabout to go that way anyway... Is that just because it's sort of "destinationless" demo traffic so they pick all lanes evenly? If it would happen with real traffic too, is there a simple way to encourage them to use the slip lanes for right turns and avoid the roundabout entirely?

Constantly surprised by the number of tutorial videos for "best/ ideal start" that neglect to use roundabouts. Roundabouts eat congestion, and if you mod and use traffic management they become even better ! Add to that there is this lovely piece of round earth in the centre that you can beautify or lead ped crossings across... why do some people not use them ? (I'm guessing they are from countries with no roundabouts !)

As an American i try to keep them to a minimum as i do American themed city's so i try to incorporate things like this and and tryed and tested one way production complex

TM was used in 4:18 , at least with some arrows, unless there is some vanilla tool/glitch/tip I'm not aware of :) Even so, it looks amazing, love it, but there should be some info regarding that. Correct me if I'm wrong :)

I just ran across this in my recommended. I'm going to build it, but I'm leaning strongly into TM:PE was used. As a console player, there is no way to get rid of left hand turns where the four lane road splits into 2 two lane roads.

Damn, it must be so hard to play this game with no mods, my condolences for all the console players!

World just fine, with the exception of 1. traffic (timed traffic lights would be nice) 2. Logistics. Controlling import would be nice. And also, based on some of the cities I've seen in the CS subreddit, seems lots of PC players don't know how to play with or without mods. Done of the spaghetti and cul-de-sacs I've seen.... Nightmare....

I think you're really good at what you do but your videos aren't the best at instructing people
