12:20 For the arc distance, it seems easier to mark the latitude in Northern Hemisphere as positive and in Southern Hemisphere as negative, so that the arc distance is always the difference of the two latitudes.

What year in the past history or in the future history will be the Maximum declination of the Sun or moon be on June 1. I am working on a 1st-century-star-map. The math is showing June 1 as the Maximum Declination. I think there is some form of modeling that might reveal the collaborating answer.
