Thanks to y’all, RR is my go to program to size and prepare my image to carve. I must not be holding my mouth right because I still can’t get the transfer process right. But I’ll keep trying. The carbon paper process is killing me.

Howdy Mrs. Vicky and the Mr... Cool tutorial. 😎 I'm money conservative (cheap 🤣). Could you do a similar video using MS Word? I've done it a few times now for the plaques I did for my daughter, still trying to get the hang of it. I use label sheets as well (shiny side) but I noticed that because it's printing on the shiny side, it isn't a "good" print, even with settings on best. To put a word to it, once I rub the image onto the wood, it's pixelated and doesn't transfer the detail very well. The best way I have found to overcome that and get my detail to transfer is to just go ahead and print onto regular paper. The rubbing still works, but it's a much lighter toned transfer and the key is to IMMEDIATELY take the print to the board and start rubbing and I mean immediately while the ink is still wet. There's got to be a better way??? When I say detail, for example, let's say I'm transferring an image of a bird. I want those detailed feathers, all of them. I'm not talking about one of those pre-made Vcarve type pictures that's basically just an outline. I'm talking about a real photo of a bird, black and white and transferring that. Yall got any tips for that scale of detail transfer?

Well, we've never used MS Word, so idk if we'll do a video on it. But maybe we'll give that a shot. As far as detail, the artwork you are using is the most important part. If you don't have good quality artwork, as you resize it, it will get pixelated really bad. That's one of the reasons we like rapid resizer, because you can see EXACTLY how it'll print out.

It always prints smaller for me,for example if I put I 40cm by 40cm it prints smaller and won't fit the surface I want .
