Using my 1973 Les Paul Custom and Neural DSP Mesa Boogie Mk II to break down one of my tunes.
Музыка
Trying out the Neural DSP build of a Mesa Boogie Mk II with my 50 year old Les Paul Custom to break down the song Empire Sands from my album "The Value of Decay". I own a Mesa Mk I, and also a Mk III... will the Neural model MK2 measure up ? Listen with headphones for best results ! I've probably looked after it better than I have myself. Thanks for listening and watching !
Thank you for the inside on the epic finale of 'The Value of Decay'. I like this record a lot and I listen to it quite often in its entirety (as it should be). I am also proud owner of a physical copy of it (not vinyl though, but an elegant digipack also released by SOM).

Very nice to see this, especially since The Value of Decay is my favourite of your works.

Thank you ! It's probably my darkest record... I'll be going through a few more tunes from that one at some point.
First riff … Bridge of Sighs reminds me a little of.

@@MarkDeutrom thanks for answering, and since i just was on my phone i guess this could be a perfect time to maybe pick your brain about something, its a melvins question and i 100% get it if you’re fed up with those and on this video of your own music, but is there any possibility you could do some guitar thingy on the mysterious song “instant larry” im guessing you where in the band at the time…im trying to learn it and do some kind of playalong video and make a tab to show on screen … im guessing you played the freaky slayer-style solos ! Was i a little goof on kerry kings style?! 🤣😂

You are pretty close...I was trying to channel Jeff H. on that. Not in his league metal wise but I tried ! I'm impressed you are trying to learn that and make TAB. I remember thinking something like "I am going to play every note on the guitar in this solo" Let me know what you come up with and I'll put it in a video !@@user-ex3tf1rr6i
