I seen people putting scent on real live worms... is that worth it ?

The natural scent of a worm should do the trick but some days adding garlic, corn or whatever scent you have could make a difference in what the trout want to hit on that day.

where do you get those pole holders?

If you search "sams outdoorsman" on Amazon you should see them. They're solid poll holders for sure.👍
