I would love to see you create a satin/leather black smokey eye look! Im guilty of going back and rewatching your other black smokey eye videos. There's something so satisfying about putting pitch black eyeshadow everywhere.

I like these way better than traditional declutter videos ! I agree I need to give things one last try or swatch before I decide to declutter 😊 also the Saie glowy super gel I love, but I wear it on my cheek bones applied with a sponge and it gives a gorgeous subtle glow !! So give it a go on top of makeup as well!!

I love that you embrace bold colors! So many beauty KZreadrs stick to nudes or "no makeup" looks.

Love this look Julia and what a great way to declutter. Love these videos! I agree with not just sitting and decluttering crazily all in one swoop. You get caught in the frenzy and get rid of things that then you regret. I declutter all the time but in small doses. If I use something and I find I don’t like it after I use it a time or two it has to go. Luckily I have older teen age nieces who love makeup and have a similar skin tone as me, and they always love to take what doesn’t work for me. They get a lot of basically new makeup. I don’t think they’ve ever had to buy any of their own except maybe foundation (as I don’t buy or wear a lot of those) or mascara. Makes me feel much less guilty for having a makeup obsession haha. I’d love to see more of these!

OoOooh no! You should have totally decluttered that Melt Palette…and I’d have been generous enough to take it off your hands for you 😂 I am obsessed with Melt’s palettes! Yes the layout for dark matter is so weird but the shadows are still amazing! The packaging is such a big part of the appeal though. I LOVE using my Muerte pallete and a big part of it is because of how beautiful the packaging is tbh.

I mix my saie glowy supergel with my makeup by mario cream bronzer!! It sheers out the bronzer just barely and the mixture gives you the most healthy bronzy glow

The same exact thing happened to my danessa myricks chrome flakes! I tried rehydrating them with duraline and another mixing medium but had to throw them away 😢 lesson learned there I guess for future gel formula eyeshadow purchases

I think the NYX Born to Glow Foundation has been discontinued, so it's probably a good thing that you got rid of it. I have the Saie glowey serum stuff too but my favorite glowey product like that has always been the L'Oréal Lumi Glotion in the 2nd shade, I think it's called the Light shade. I just prefer the way it looks on the skin and that it isn't drying to the skin, it's basically exactly what it's called, a glowey lotion! Awesome eyeshadow look and I would keep that palette too! ❤

This is my favorite kind of video you make!! Also, you can try depotting those 4 shadows from the palette. If looking at the ugly layout distresses you (as it does for everyone I've seen review it) you'll never reach for it!

Hi Julia, it would be interesting if you mixed the Saie highlighter with your body moisturizer, perhaps it looks more natural like the effect that pearl oils give without being heavy. All the products you used look great on camera. 😊

I'd love to see a half and half of "what I kept vs what I love" to see how they perform against your holy grails... but let's be fair, you make all makeup look stunning - the eyes, the blush ❤

I didn't care for Victoria's Beckham's lip stains either, they didn't last and felt drying. Dang I need to check my Danessa Myricks Chrome Flakes to see if they dried out too. Hate when that happens. I really like how pretty your look turned out!

Hi Julia! I really liked this video! Two things...1. I think I remember why you have that shade of the Flower Beauty highlighter. I think you said it was your shade in the summer when you are tan. 2. That Melt Cosmetics palette is so awkward. You should see if it's easy to depot the four shades you like and put in one of those small magnetic palettes. Throw that huge thing away (or give it away) LOL!

You can get a small zpalette and take out only the eyeshadows you want

The Danessa Myricks stuff dry out too quickly. Mine dried out within a week! Even their paint tube ones :(

I have the Saie highlighter and I hardly use it because it enhances my skin textures (not any more than any other highlighter honestly), but I can’t get rid of it because I love the smell. Occasionally I use it on my nose, cupids bow and chin; on the cheeks is a hard no for me

Julia, is the melt palette magnetic? I think all of them are, so if this one is as well, maybe keep just the shades you like. I know it’s not ideal but 😅 that palette is kinda awkward

If you dislike the Melt palette's layout so much, you should de-pot it and put the pans in a cute/nice magnetic palette....AND FILM IT so we can see how you do it.

You should depan the few shadows you like and then toss that eyeshadow pallet, get a z-pallet!!!

I feel that Melt cosmetics were interesting, innovative and at their height when they had the stacks. Even now in 2023 I look at their site and feel like it's 2015.

The doe foot thing keeps happening to me with the Half Magic glosses. :/ They're completely popping off and getting lost in the gloss. The opening is too small or the doe foot is too flimsy.

The palette layout is so awkward!! Totally agree 😅 it is cringe just looking at it at first glance
