So the module basically sets a threshold and can output a digital HIGH/LOW signal. The measurement could also be taken by simply connecting the LDR shunt to ground on an analog pin of the Arduino.

Hey...Is it important to do all this stuff....I mean can't we just take the terminals of the sensors and attach them to the battery and the LED...... Actually I don't know....And I want to make something like that without those complications....

Could you please explain why adding the 200 ohm resistor is necessary? If I am using an LED chip which runs on 9V DC, how many ohm resistor do I need to use? Hope you can assist.

It won't run you need to use transistor to run your 9v LED

Tanishq Sharma u can use mapping to range values from analog input to a number from 0 to 255 which is the pwm output signal and this vlaue can be used in analogwrite...
