Thank you so much! Yes I am learning to listen to my scalp! It’s actually a very humbling experience, because I had the expectation of this will not happen to me😆! I was in denial, it took me 3 washes to realize, but I also wonder because this all happened after opening this new bottle of Curly Magic!
Beautiful results. I empathize with the time involved in filming from start to finish. It's a lot of work. I was on a live this week discussing how I plan to also scale back the videos starting in the shower. Your results are beautiful 😍

I enjoy the KKC as a base gel with ICH on top. My hair doesn’t respond as well to UFD but it’s a product to water ratio issue for me even after 2 years. My daughters hair does really well with UFD and ICD. Thank you for sharing another wash day with us.

Yes I love it just not the price!
I think this is a good combo for you. I avoid products getting on my scalp as much as possible but my issue is flat roots which reduce my volume. Even when I place very little product on my roots, my roots are still flat. That's how my hair grows out.
I Love your videos and I’ve been going through this process for at least 3yrs.

Yes it gives a good wash and go! I have another video where I show in shower application! But you only need a little. I get 41/2 uses. I would love to know how it turns out, my instagram dm is always open if you like to share!

@@rosieamelia5955 yes, I'm still figuring out the product/water ratio on both UFD gel and Kinky Curly custard. I will probably top my Kinky Curly with Mousse Def or Ouidad Anti-Himidity gel... I actually have both on my "sets to try" list. 😅 I have both of those "toppers". Haven't tried ICH yet. I'll let you know how it goes!

I just used Papaya Slip as my base, but I was afraid to use it as one and done, so I topped it with Mop Top. It’s a great combo so far-feels and looks great on day one.

I haven’t used Kinky Curly Knot Today for years. I might try it with the matching leave in.

Love your videos. I know what you mean about getting product on the floor. I stand on a large beach towel now. Now if I can not get its on the bathroom drawers. Great set. I've used KCC over UFD before. Now to try it as a base. Thanks

Your set is gorgeous. This is funny because I just pulled this combo out to use. I'm just letting the dye grow out and embracing my grey. That's no shade to anyone who dyes their hair. At 62, I'm over covering my greys and tired of pampering color treated hair.

See it’s nice to have curl friends, okay thanks for sharing that your hair behaves better when not dyed! I will stay the course. it’s not even that bad it’s kids related 🤣🤣🤣👀! These kids give grey hair 🤣! I use to do the unthinkable before to these grey hairs! But I only had like 5 total!

I'm a firm believer do what you feel works best for you. I like to rotate by base/ leave in weekly. I think that has helped with irritation issues. I know technically, leave ins are frowned upon but I feel if the leave-in has decent humectants, it pairs quite nicely with my toppers. I use Curl Origin Honey Hisbiscus Whipped Leave in or PureO Naturals Botanical extract leave in paired with KCCC.

I don’t frown on leave in. But yes I believe because I have been using that gel consistently it’s causing issues!
Rosie, if you go to Hydrabar, Rhonda known as curlyrhonda, she is a stylist and she does the blowout cut, she does do curly cuts. Her clients hair looks good. Thank you for sharing insights about the different styles of cutting.

@@rosieamelia5955 😆😆 Lol I do, one small in the front but you know shrinkage hides it all😇. I’ve been using FoTi (He Shou Wu) powder on my hair. It’s the secret to Yao Women’s black hair, when I found out after my first white hair, I will never stop using it. So I hope more won’t grow in. 🤣It can also be used orally.

Today I tried KCCC as a base and put the leave in after the gel and followed with ICH and a snip of BCG/ENBBA gel because the humidity is high here and I’m loving how my curls clumped !! I don’t get the same clumpage with Uncle Funky’s
