I think they perform equally so I am not sure why so many people are saying that they get such a hard crunch from the Crazy Sexy Curl. I guess everyone's hair is different. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the products.

What leave-in do you use with the Mousse Def?

Both of those mousses are in regular rotation for me. You got good results for both sides. The CSC for me definitely give better definition and hold and the MD gives good definition and but more volume. Just used the CSC with the custard and I loved it. The custard alone definitely gave me a hard crunch I wasn’t ready for. Didn’t need much to get that job done along but together 🙌🏾. Big poppa is good alone and with mousse for me. Can’t wait to see you do both 😊

Thank you! I don't do a lot of slick back styles anymore, but when I did I would use Eco Olive Oil gel. Wetline Extreme would work, too. Just be careful of those styles because they can cause breakage and thin out your edges.

❤ your hair and bathrobe. I have used both and they do feel different and have different results. Actually some people use both at once. I believe both have water as 1st ingredient so may not need a leave in. The crazy sexy curl came out the bottle the same way. I thought it was a defective pump. Lpl I actually pulled out my kinky curly leave in and custard this morning. It's always an old faithful combo. Oldie and goodie. I'm going to buy them again. Because I am a product junkie I always buy stuff but the kinky kurly never disappoints me. Imma see if they have a mousse. Can't remember. Love your music in this video. So uplifting and inspiring. God is the ultimate light for sure. ❤

Both sides look good and the same to me. I used Big Poppa and Mouse Def together. I got a nice wash n’go but my hair was a bit sticky. I would be interested in how that combo will work on your hair.

Your hair looks good. I only used the crazy sexy curl and it is not my favorite mousse. My hair feels dry after 3 days. One of my favorites is the The Mane Krush Kurl Kocktail mousse. Give it a try next time they have a sale. It pairs well with Kurltini.

Both sides look great. Please use most def with the custard, I want to see how that looks. Most def and big poppa was sticky, not sure where I went wrong but don’t want to give it another go 😂

Hi Rae both sides look similar. I have never used any Doux products but since you asked for suggestions I would love to see you try the Doux Mousse Def with the Big Poppa. Have you heard or read up on the Doux 808 Base Gel? I been side eyeing 👀 the base gel and would like to try it with the mousse def.

Honestly both sides look great I’ve tried both mousses as well and I agree… the mousse def is the better application and hold for the long run. I’d honestly like to just see you try the bee girl by itself. I tried it with both mousses and got great results. A harder than mousse but softer than gel alone type of hold HOWEVER, using too little water, not enough gel ratio can either make or break your wash n go from 5 days to a 3 day snow storm of flakes. It needs lots of water. I’d recommend just using the gel as a base over a whole section on soaking wet hair then out of the shower apply the mousse (mousse def) to shape and style your hair. 🤌🤌I only recommend using the gel (bee girl) by itself so you get a feel for its hold on your bare hair first before using a combo

Hi Rae I like the review. I really don't care for the Mousse def it left my hair dry. I would like to see the crazy sexy curl with the Bee girl. I have the custard but am afraid to use it because of the stronghold I see it have on other people's hair. I am also interested in seeing what leave-ins it can be paired with to release that crunch.

Mousse def must be applied on clean dry hair and crazy sexy curl on wet/damp

On the site is says that Mousse def can be applied to clean damp hair and on the bottle it says apply to clean wet or dry hair. Therefore, you can apply mousse def to damp, wet or dry hair depending on what works best for you. One the site it says to apply Crazy sexy curl to clean damp hair so again, you can apply it to wet or damp hair and get good results. So, you saying it MUST be applied to dry hair is inaccurate. I totally understand wanting to find things on the ground and not having to order. With that said, I do go back and revisit older products periodically. I just did that recently with Taliah Waajid: kzread.info/dash/bejne/pYGl05iTeLrMh5s.html I only use the green apple line, I don't have any interest in her other lines at this point. I used to use the curly curl cream from her original line, but it ended up being to heavy for my hair and it flaked a lot so I stopped using it. If she comes out with something new, that I feel can work for me and my audience, I am open to picking it up and trying it. I hope this helps.
