Using keiki paste to clone an orchid | Hobby Bobby

This is my first attempt at cloning a Phalaenopsis orchid by using keiki paste. I applied it to two of the nodes of the flower spike while there were flowers present and buds remaining on the spike. I realized that I was supposed to wear gloves to do this, but I forgot. I first stripped the protective sheathing from the nodes with a sterilized razor blade, then I applied the keiki paste. I bought one ounce of keiki paste for $6, and it appears to be enough to treat dozens of nodes. Now that it's applied, I will continue to care for the orchid normally, and I will provide updates and new videos if things progress. If you have any questions, please post them, below....thanks for watching! UPDATE: My efforts did not produce a keiki or additional spike fron the node... I'll have to try, again.

Hi....I intended to show what happened as a follow up video, but unfortunately, nothing developed on either treated node. The plant is currently forming a new spike from one of the nodes beyond those which were treated.
