I was not aware this was an option. Just spent the better part of a day experimenting with it and it is now a part of my shooting.

It's a bit...nebulous...

I love this feature. Nice to know that even though you are in manual mode... the back butto AF still works. I keep dual screens active all the time as I actually like the small screen for framing my composition. Not what this feature was intended for but it works for me. Cheers, thnx for the video!

My focus problems usually come from having the wrong aperture, making my DOF too short. This is especially true when photographing flowers. Thanks for the tip though, I’ll give it a go the next time I’m particularly looking for shallow DOF. Mostly I use MF and Peak but the red highlights can give a false sense of what is in the DOF.

I believe it's the X-T2 through X-T5, X-H cameras, GFX100, 100S, and 50SII.

I got it working for pictures, but it doesn’t appear to work for video. Ideas?
