Lord knows i have an unhealthy amount of love for this camera, i'd probably cry when i get my hands on it

Even though many say that a person shouldn't concentrate much on likes / follows and care about content, I was kinda sad buz of not getting enough engagements on my post but your previous video and this one inspired me to go out and shoot again ! Thanks for the much needed motivation.

Not sure if it's worth the extra step for you since you're pleased with the look of your video, but Fuji has a free eternal LUT that you can use on FLog footage for the extra bit of dynamic range while still having the film sim look

As a frustrated X-H1 user i found this video pleasant and i appreciate you giving me a different view on this device. Still want them to update it(AF, IBIS, and RAW *like nikon video). I'll hold on to this until i can get my hands on the BMPCC6K.

Which lens are you using for this video. Just ordered this camera for music videos and your footage looks awesome! My camera arrives tomorrow!! Also, F-log or their Eterna on this video? I see your settings are custom Eterna but curious as to if used on all video including this one!

Actually you shouldn’t increase the noise reduction. Quite the opposite. You should leave it on -2 or even -3. I know there is a lot of noise at higher ISO values, but if you leave the NR on a higher value in darker situations, it will soften the image and make it look weird, bokeh in particular. If you put it on -3 there will be much more detail an the noise does not include color, so it looks a little bit more like film grain.

Eterna is great. Shot a few weddings on it. If youre run and gunning, it is MONEY. When I use it, I drop shadows AND highlights to -2 and saturation all the way down. Kind of a pseudo-log that grades pretty well.

@@AlpsLifee easier to gauge exposure. Quicker turn around in editing. Can shoot at lower ISO. Dynamic range isnt bad at all. Have the option to shoot with 100-200-400% DR (depending on DR of scene). Eterna is just good by itself. I would rather shoot in LOG, but sometimes you just dont have the time to nail exposure.

@@AlpsLifee no lol. The IBIS and lens stabilizer has me stuck with Sony for video, not to mention I have the 16-35 F/2.8 GM for Sony, which is SUPER sharp. So not yet.

I’ve always pronounced Saucony as Saw Cone E. Not Sock Oh Knee. Now I’ll be thinking about that all day lol

I really wouldn’t recommend adding noise reduction in camera at +2 your losing detail by doing that, keep it at 0 or take it away.

6:03 6:38 and most of the rest of the video what's happening with the focus? It changes all the time. Sometimes on the back, sometimes on the front. Is that a issue with the autofocus or software or lens? Something is wrong.

This is what happens when you learn to use your camera. Don't expect these tools to do the work for you, best familiarize yourself with them in accordance to what your target interests are.
