What is the top speed? , i don't know exactly over 2K no worries, i've not found a hard limit on anything other than space available, the rate of acceleration slows after about 1.5K(give or take) but doesn't stop, give it a gravity assist and it gets messy and roasts my little AMD 2600X till i get FPS drops.

try to make a vehicle that accelarates in a circular path. That way you wont need to worry about the walls of the map. You know adding connector parts to only one side drifts to vehicle that side. With the right amount of unbalancing you can find a circular path.

It will still spiral outwards, because as you increase your speed you will eventually reach escape velocity of the circular path, so the walls will still be an issue. I'm sure someone else has said it, but hovercraft still run between Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight. Not sure they'll let you onto the island after what you did to them in that dorfromantik video though!

If you spaced out the hoverpads more(maybe 2 per 3 sections instead of 6) it would probably still work and massively reduce the weight.

you shouldve alternated the connectors (one left, then one right), maybe it wouldn't have wobbled as much and didn't pull to one side

There's still a commercial hovercraft operating between Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight.

I think you might've gained a bit of speed by having a fully symetrical build. The constant shift of the vehicle on the side reduces the distance you can travel enough that making it slightly heavier could be worth it.

You may try to reduce hover blocks to bump up the number of engines, although I doubt you could get much out of it

What if you remove more of the hover pieces so you can add more thrust? You only need enough hover pieces to keep it off the ground. Also maybe make it wider so you have more 'room' before you hit the other side. Don't know how that will affect the aerodynamics but would be cool to see if you can break the game by going so fast. One last thing would be to alternate the connecting pieces so you have somewhat even weight on both sides. Like a checkered pattern up the sides.
