Thanks to our growing Patreon community, we are able to hire Benoit for more window work!
Patreon funding goes directly toward renovating the historical Chateau de Lesigny domain.
Special thanks to our dear Patrons: Andrea, Jesse, Bernadette, Theo, and Morgan for your outstanding support of this Beau Chateau!
You can help support our renovation projects by joining our Patreon Community and gain access to exclusive videos, updates and more!
Join us, Daphne and Ian, as we embark on our new chateau renovation projects! This week, we install a water pump at the base of our dungeon. Daphne's granny, Jo, invites us to visit the French Riviera with her and her cat, Charlie. We join them on a drive from Paris, through Provence, and to the coast of Southern France. While we're there, we also look into a long-forgotten investment property that has been somewhat of a mystery up until now...
Our "beau chateau" (The 500-year-old, Chateau De Lesigny), is located near Paris, France. Most of the structures around the chateau domain need a full restoration, so we are investing everything we have into making the property thrive! We are learning more about french culture and developing new skills along the way!
As a French/American UC Berkeley graduate in Agriculture (Daphne), and a U.S. Air Force Tactical Response Force Veteran/ Kinesiologist (Ian), we share a love for challenges and adventure. We have a long road ahead of us and we are excited to share the experience with you!
You can support our renovation projects by joining our Patreon Community, where you can also gain access to exclusive videos and behind the scene access with Daphne and Ian! All patron funding is used to renovate this historical French Chateau. Every patron is paramount to our chateau renovations and we thank you all tremendously!

I felt like I was watching a documentary on your grandparents' lives. How beautifully shot and edited. I teared up a bit when your grandmother turned, and smiled at the camera with her hat on. You guys are so terrific to watch! I’m semi homebound and living in a neuro- retreat home on 7 acres of woods (Nevada City since you are Ca folks) we need to tend while we (and I mean we- designer/builders/groundswork heat pumps newfangled low tox high insulation approach w wonderful friends and some lovely subs) finishing building it. I SO relate to the patience perseverance roll up sleeves aspects of your situation. I love France and it is delightful to see it through your eyes. Thanks for many hours of enjoyment following along on your adventures. My doors order won’t come til august (curtains for doors, noise sensitive thank god it’s summer!) but at least I don’t have a moat to cope w and it’s inspiring to watch your youthful energy (we are auld folks who are slowing down esp me but my husband is a force of nature who can outwork most 40 year olds at 75). Much love and thanks!

We spent a week in Menton visiting my husband’s cousin 13 years ago. I remember crossing over to Italy and shopping at a local bazaar. Thanks for bringing back ,memories

I too love what your sweet voice said at the very end. Such wise wise counsel. “We can’t predict the future. So it’s ok to take chances and let your success and failure guide you. But most of all be present to the experience because our greatest investment is time and how we choose to spend it. “
