Ironically, Diane, I had just made this border, also, right before I discovered this video! My theme for the page was also tools, but I didn't have my Hand Tools Border Punch yet, so I didn't use it. My page was about my husband's new chainsaw and an attachment for our tractor bucket, so kind of different tools anyway. I was drawn to the sketch in the book because of the fall colors because it was fall when I took the photos of the tools. I love how yours turned out!

I often make very simple borders, but I don't make fancy ones very often. If I do make an elaborate border, I add very few embellishments to the page. And I'm one of those people who has to use whatever I make right away because if I save it for later, I will probably forget to use it! :)

I do like borders and I use them when I can. Love this layout I have a small album to do. I have a house teardown and new one put in.❤️

Oh wow, that project could probably fill a large album! I had so many photos, had to really narrow it down. I could of done another 2 page spread but the peek-a-boo pockets makes it more interactive.

I never got the opportunity to learn how to make borders in the olden days, so I’m very happy to be able to learn from you! Your borders and pages are fantastic!

I need to make more borders and use them. Have not done that for awhile. I like how you use the border right away.

I made the border this afternoon. My project was painting so I cut 2 different paint brushes and a roller in silhouette instead of the tools. I love it! Thank you for the inspiration.

I love making borders but they don't always get on my page(s). I think it's because I usually do 2 page spreads and there's nothing to put on the other page. Two of the same or similar borders are sometime too much. Watching you make companion pieces help out a lot. Thanks for that!

I love your border. I'm going to a crop this April so I will make this border. It's perfect. I'm working on our renovation album. I have a hard time using my borders. Never know how to use them. I like how you put it in the middle of the page

I’m starting to make more borders but when I do I use it immediately even if it’s just on a pre made page layout. 👍🌏

Nice border!! I still borders from the early 2000s I have not used. Now I don’t make borders unless I specifically know I will use them.
