Tbf, there are a *lot* of stages, and the dev team had to adjust every single one not only to allow for placing blocks, but also for mining on every surface. It makes sense for there to be some oversights or small errors in places, especially with the level of detail put into Steve as a character and his moveset.

You know what I love about Steve's design? The how awkward and bad it looks, like, compare it with Alex, Steve's pants are terrible, de only thing that makes the legs look a bit separated is the shadow on the knees, while with Alex both legs have boundaries, boots, and pockets, now imagine that one day you just made a poorly made design just for a default skin that will be changed in a matter of minutes, and now imagine that said skin has been quite loved by the community and just as it looks makes it into a place like Smash with just really minor changes. I just love it.

Did you know: Meta Knight's clones during his final smash are a bit odd. If you pause the game during the final smash, there will be the main Meta Knight with 4 wings and red eyes, but he has clones that attack with him that lack the extra wings and also eyes. Not lacking the _red_ eyes, but eyes at all.

It would have been even better if you could do that on command. Like maybe it would scroll left or right through his inventory hotbar depending on which way you shifted the shield while holding it. Using two shield buttons at once would make that action easier.

Continuing the Meta Knight Fact, Meta's Knight's eyes turn red when he parries, but when he's in his Galacta Knight skin, his eyes are red, so they turn yellow when he parries in that skin. Dude switches between eye colors like Tweek switches between characters. (Disclaimer: If they don't, plz reply. I'm 99.9% sure they do.)

I don’t really agree with the explanation on roughness maps, they’re there to control which part of the model has a glossy look or not: Full on black = Very glossy Full on white = Basically Matte The part that makes the model look more 3D is the normal texture that gives the model more detail from the original sculpt to the low poly model used in the game I was a little confused when you showed the normal textures example too, I think that’s just the model with albedo maps/with color and the Normal + Roughness example with all textures applied

For the Roughness texture part, Roughness textures do not give the model depth, they determine reflectiveness. The normal maps determines depth.

For future reference, it is more useful to refer to these idle animations as Idle and Fidget. Idle for the normal breathing loop when the player is providing no input and there is nothing else acting upon the character, and the Fidget is for when the character just sort of does something to keep things interesting.

Surprised that you didn’t talk about how Zombie and Enderman don’t have fighter spirits, like all other fighters and alt. fighters like the Koopalings, Alph, and the other Heroes do.

1:33 Not really, depends on what aspect of the games we are talking about. Bedrock performs better, has more people playing it, and has more interesting mechanics like speed bridging. Java is better for servers(despite the lag issue), modding, and more complex redstone and pvp.

I would like to mention that in Java Edition, Axes have a really slow cooldown but do more damage than swords. The fact that Steve's up tilt and up air are super fast and aren't heavy attacks implies that its specifically Bedrock Edition Steve, since Bedrock has no attack cooldown (the blinking animation also supports this idea). Also, despite Steve being added to Smash Bros. _after_ the Caves and Cliffs update (where they updated the ore textures to make them more distinct for color blind players), the ores still uses the old classic textures.
