And the 2nd best part is the melted 1” circle of original vinyl that’s now highlighting your badly repaired hole like a flaming target yelling at you to “look here!”

That's call DO IT YOUR SELF. As a car recon tech. Just to repair that hole you need besides to clean the area you need to apply compound or vinyl fill and then iron or heat gun the area using Teflon. And cold block after iron it. And Do, a second step of vinyl fill and come with the texture pad and dye the area. That it. But was a good video too thanks

Wow. What a waste of time on a terrible repair attempt. I think it looks even worse now since you can see a much bigger damaged area now. I have seen vinyl patching that has come out pretty damn good but I would reupholster the door panel before I did this to it.

I have the exact same kit, nowhere in the instructions does it say apply heat to the pattern compression tool. It says it takes one hour to dry apply 3x, so will take three hours to cure all up. What a shockingly stupid video. Dumb is dumb I guess. That is not personal to the video poster but he has consolidated his position by not pulling the video down. Or changing it. Alternatively he has some axe to grid with the producer of the product or the business owner.......
