Would this work with an older ipad pro (gen 6)? using the hdmi to lightning adaptor? cause I still have a perfectly functioning ipad pro gen 6 😅

Not too much, honestly. I don’t have to quantify it but it’s better than Aurga viewer.

Why not use a usbc to hdmi cable?

Hello! Thank you for the video, I tried but when connecting the apple hdmi capture dongle on my iPad Pro , Orion doesn’t turn to that static screen. Does it not register it? I’m on 17.1.1 and any help would be greatly appreciated

@@muchammadthohariakbar6385 yea I did figure it out a while ago! Hard to remember but I’m fairly sure I needed a dongle to the iPad and a separate dongle to the rog ally I have to check again if that’s how it worked in the end

Hello there! I suggest you try changing the refresh rate of your secondary monitor (iPad) through Windows Display settings. Limit it 60Hz. If possible, limit both primary and secondary display to 60Hz.

For as long as your devices have battery charge.

Display ratio of iPad ends up making the size close to the Ally, so better to use with Android tablet.
