The first time you take a big hit to the liver is a moment that makes you really question where you are and what you’re doing.

As a southpaw liver punches are really hard to land but a variation of this setup might work. You are even in southpaw position sometimes when you land it.

Bro just bang the body with your left straight. I'm gonna argue its even easier to do it as a southpaw. As a southpaw, you're not being tricky enough 😁
That's a highly effective trick, Houdini of The fight game, they instantly shell up, & go to high guard, leavin' their entire body open, to the brutal Liver shot, presentin' you the golden opprotunity for a KO. You know your shit, Jeff. Done like, a real pro.

It happens bro, was doing pads the other night in Muay Thai, held up a teep for my buddy. Dropped the pads just a little too low, and his heel went straight inbetween the pads and teeped me in the groin just above the danger zone Still hurt though, he's a super middleweigh, and I'm super lightweight aha 😂

@@mortalkomment8028 yep, that's what my old TKD school was like. I even had a conversation about it with my old teacher. Buy, he kind of dismissed my notion of employing bunkai in our practice. Basically, we were just doing forms, just to be doing them. But, so much emphasis was placed on the forms, in some days that was all we did. But, there was a massive disconnect from that to one-steps, then drills, then finally sparring.

@@MMAShredded Wow, I didn't think you'd ever see my comment. When I watched your video a second time I noticed that everyone threw different counters, but no one landed anything at all on you. Impressive defense right after the combo especially since it was a variety of different strikes that came back. I was trying to find it, do you have another fight lined up soon? I'd love to watch you fight again, but even if you retired from that the content you put out here is gold. Respect.
I always love that follow up mid/low kick he does. Sometimes when he punches he almost immediately follows through with that kick and it’s so satisfying.. I’m stealing that

The last guy just wasn’t really shelling, interesting to see how that effected the set up
Just a video posted by Jeff here asking if he is that guy who causes hard sparring. Here he is blasting some people in the liver. 😂
Also try "hook as you pivot (hook blinds your opponent as you pivot to your right, all in one motion)hook again, & a. lift up your leg to fake a right leg or body Thai kick, then kick, -or-just kick."
My boy niko
Oh i like that. I usually like to go high low with a double hook a la Tyson or Ruiz to land the liver shot or as a counter when dipping under your opponents right.
This is creative.

Jeff, when you fight, you remind me of an animal. This relaxed, unorthodox way of fighting is surely the mark of a true fighter and martial artist. I actually use the same technique in boxing, covering up with the forearm before throwing the body shot. It’s incredibly useful in every range, and can be used with so many variations.
