As an Honorable Mention, I'd definitely add the new Anchorage Ace for a stealth commando rifle build. Integrally suppressed with a lowish AP cost is a nice combination, even if it doesn't have quite the damage of a Fixer or Handmade.

A silencer option for the 10mm Sub has long been requested so yeah Anchorage Ace definitely great to have!

I have been on the hunt for this one for awhile.

For shotguns i prefer the cold shoulder. Don't need sneak perks, just crit perks. It's like shotgun version of railway rifle.

Nuka Launcher has returned, in the Atom Shop in one of the Nuka bundles.

I think, personally, that there's quite a big difference between guns that are useful for things like story missions where, for example, stealth is quite important, and guns that are useful for endgame content like events and boss fights, where going loud and proud is very much the order of the day. And, for new players, there's the issue of "which are best without legendary effects," as that can quite dramatically change things up.

Yeah there's lots of situations to take into account, for the most part though 76 is super chill so once past the low level, can easily use most things to great effect.

@@TheNightmareDuke Yep. One of the reasons I really like it is because it's a relatively easy game, so you have plenty of scope to experiment and have fun with different builds. I'm currently trying a bloodied black powder build. If I can get a shot off, it's devastating, but otherwise I'm running around in a panic trying to find somewhere safe to reload. 🤣🤣

Wish they made more weapons tradable. If it took you a while to earn the ability to craft a very cool weapon, you should be able to sell it for a premium based on how hard it was to get.

Changed out to a compound bow after seeing the fun my grandson was having with his. 😅 Also they are so light even without any weight reduction that I carry about four different legendary ones nowadays. 👍

I run around with four compound bows. 1. Cryo Bloodied for alround, 2. Ultracite Bloodied for scorched 3. Anti Armor Exploding for tagging and 4. Burning Love with (has already fire arrows) a second Fire arrow for healing purposes when in a team or event.

Dude..plasma Caster. It's tough, and us a literal ammo factory

For the crusader pistol, you can also buy it from reggs

I carry the fixer, slug buster, railway rifle, tesla rifle, the incinerator, gatling plasma and a chainsaw. No need to only choose one.

Gamma gun is undderrated. Have been using one on my pistol built. Never seen anyone else do it but the damage is high.

Use the weapons you like using, make sure you’re having fun!

Burning Love is the best bow. You can stack burning or add poison to burn etc... That is the only bow I use.

I never liked Energy weapons. There is certain wackiness to it that I dont like.... Pistols are my go to!

Tons of weapons could be mentioned, the hard choice was choosing only 1 though, but yes plasma caster is excellent choice!

0:51 I just want to say that I'm glad PvP isn't really part of the game anymore. I wouldn't play fallout 76 if it was. The helpful, collaborative player base is what makes this often buggy game worth playing.

It’s a crime shame if cremator is not on the list. This weapon melts I say melts mobs of enemies. Do a distant thunder event and in one good shot and boom they all dead and instant event complete. Ammo isn’t an issue even if the weapon uses ten fuel per shot cause if u use it on mobs of enemies you’ll get more ammo then u can spend on.
