Release 18 introduces the option to view MoGraph clone indexes in the viewport. Using this information and a bit of Xpresso, we can directly link a camera's focus plane to the location of a specific target clone - even as it animates!

Lovely, I was looking for a method to extract the matrix and this tutorial saved me hours!
Perfectly explained, thank you very much for the useful tutorial !
Really useful tutorial, thanks!
Thanks for the help!
Awesome! thanks this was the solution that I was looking for. Wanted to procedurally animate a rigged fish that had dynamics on. But Mograph and particle have their own wold coordinates so dynamics don't work. Being able to attach the fish individually like this helped :D !!
amazing
This is super useful but can anyone tell me if this is what I'd use to choose a different clone from all others (so like white phone and all others black)? Changing material/position/animation for that one specific clone is what I'm looking to do.
Is it possible to manipulate the position of each clone from here?
From where I can find camera clipping option for clones. So that I can only see cloners only where my camera is clipped. Other cloners will hide.

making objects as child of cloner using Xpresso instead of actually putting them under the cloner is that possible ?
