Are you ok? Lol
Do the same here in CO, proven method heavy following heavy, doesn't work 100% but I always take my detector plus great for crevicing, detector picked up lead shot, and gold was soon to follow underneath! Great video as always!
Awesome! I'm excited to grid out my claim and walk it all with my GM1000. Thanks for the video, Chris! Great work.
Excellent point. I have used this technique before in dry washes with varied success. Thanks for sharing!
Glad to see Griz. In the beginning there I thought he was settling in to take a deuce but he was just sitting down. LOL good video man I do that same thing. Most gold here's to small to pick up with a detector at least where I am.
Thanks for the idea from now on I will completely pan out all target prospect pans.
I'm definitely gonna try this! Thanks
That same method could be used in the desert for drywashing or dry blowing .That's cool 😎
Nice to see ol griz again, we all miss him. get another like a did. now i have two bundles of joy, scot my rotty, n suzie, german shepard. they beat the door down to see me when i come home from work.
Very informative, good seeing Griz
Hi Grizz... My puppy Max sends his love to you! Heard you were a very good boy and Max promises he will be too! Chris I hope your 2021 is off to a kind start... Hugz
That was pretty cool..keep on digging 👍.

superb tips on finding gold mate :)
Great video mate, I am planning on using a metal detector in Italy to try and help find a good paystreak. Going to be hitting up the Elvo River and the Orco River in Italy. Thanks for the video and keep em coming 😁
Good ol griz 🤗, nice to hear the water running 🤟🤟
Great video man I'm getting ready to order a detector I think it will help a lot
Good to know.Thanks
Doing this for a living would be so peaceful
Great video, great concept! I literally only listened to your podcast yesterday about detectors as I am looking to get one. I am thinking of getting the Minelab Equinox 800 so I can get the best of coins, artifacts and gold. Happy to hear your thoughts, Obviously I know you must get a HEAP of similar questions so would understand if you breezed past this one. Loved Griz taking a nap hahaha

@@VoGusProspecting 😂🤣, my nox 800 has paid for itself with pull tabs, 😒. Price of aluminium is not great but where the hell do they come from 🤔, Like it rains pull tabs 🤷.
Aww Grizz ;( I'm getting prepared for my first gold outing, recently learned there was a small rush in a local river in the 1890's less than an hour away. Never realised i was quite that close.

Came to read comments about gold prospecting but twilight zoned into the PDSA FAN MAIL chat room.
what is that suction tube you use?
I use this method too, my local areas are really fine gold. An XP ORX works pretty well.

The ORX is ment to be quite good
Another tool in the pouch! I can't help but wonder if there's good gold in the top layer of grass on the inside bends that are lower in height where the flood gold can hit the grass and fall? Thats what we've learned in our situation a few thousand miles away....then again my toilet spins opposite of yours so now we're all bunched up🤔🙃
gidday chris . about to head to bendigo area for 2 weeks so am going to try this. an idea of yours really appeals

Good job. That's quite a bit of gold.
Interesting idea Chris, I’ve got a $600 Garret and so far have only gone to Qld designated fossicking areas with results so far of shotgun pellets a couple of nails and assorted wire. 😂😂 & the creeks were as dry as a dust bowl.

You added honey on that sweat tip Thanks for the lesson How about using a magnet on a stick---could that work?LOL David out
I assume he was using a detector especially made to discriminate gold very well. Shouldn’t that prevent false positives on wire, or can they not do that yet?
Please name of the maskine?
Greeting from metal Detector Bali Indonesia 🙏
I'd like to see you do the same video but with a cheap metal detector and see if it's as easy. Not one that cost ££££s 🤣 but like ur way of thinking bud keep up the good work. 👍

How do you rate the minelab gold monster for a beginner
@48thstateprospecting
3 жыл бұрын
I got one I’m a beginner it’s easy to use and works extremely well was worth every penny in my opinion
How much is this machine
instead of panning for the target why don't you just cut the dirt in half and waive it over the detector each time until you get to the end?
Great stuff man! And yes, for the haters, a kmart metal detector would have found all 3 of those.. why would this guy have a $50 detector anyways?
Most of the gold I'm finding is because of the bullets and metal pieces that I found with my metal detectors. I always dig the areas where the heavier things drop out. After a few feet of digging gravel my 1000 picked up a. 8gr Nugget. There's been 5gr of fines taken from this spot. 👀⛏🤠🌵

You have to remember it sounds different in real-life.
What you should try to do, if the ground is that rich in gold, is pull a 24 hour high banking set up. Set up camp around the creek and put up stage lights for when it gets dark, and see how much gold you can get in 24 hours.

Why not go where no one has ever been … then you won’t keep getting false reads.
💜🤟
though I had some problem with sea water It also kzread.infoUgkxa-FNYUOM93a388gi9a4brtSCEVmrHgJH land for finding any things very easily. (thought it would work as normal due to it being water proof within certain parts of the detector), on dry land and sand worked well. My first one, so still have lots to learn
Ok so 1:03..1:06..the ground your detecting is already disturbed, perhaps that was staged and 1:06 the way the camera is positioned seems to strategically place is hide the view of where your digging...hmmm.....
@VoGusProspecting
Жыл бұрын
Yeah, as I said, i went to an area I've been working. So there's lots of ground disturbance already. The method I use is pulling back the dirt and rock to reveal the gold specimens. Therefore, more ground disturbance. Just remember, you're seeing 5 seconds of a 2 or 4 minute clip. Its not faked. I've never faked a video, I've no need to. And if I was to I'd find a lot more gold than a 0.10 bit.
crazy 😜
I'm terrible at panning. I'm afraid to let anything wash out of the pan. Lol amateurs 🤣🤣
Just got a 6"DD - 18.75khz coil for my minelab X-terra 705, hopeful it will help find me some shiny up in Scotland once this lockdown thing is done with, thanks for the upload.
