Nice! I recently got some Sway 57s. I didn't know about these at the time I purchased them (would have got these instead). Before that my last pair of skates were USD Thrones from like 98 or something. I like the all white design. cool review, good style.

Does the frame have the ability to be removed and switched out, and is there any rocker ability?

If you can believe it, I'm thinking about buying these skates today; found them online for cheap - what's ur MP? Because I'm also thinking about downsizing into these EU39-40 with some second skins

I have flat feet too, and was looking getting a pair of these. I usually wear a 10.5. would you suggest I go a size up? I'm sure I'll eventually switch it the liners. But being that I've been out of the skate world for nearly 17 years, I plan on riding a stock skate for at least a few months.

To be honest dude, don't get them if you have wide feet. I'm not riding my pair anymore, but then again I did down size 😅 but yeah, they look sick as and they grind well, especially the soul plate. But... my feet would hurt after 2 hours, ideally you want something that's going to make your feet still feel OK after 3.. 4 hours ✌🏽 I'd suggest them skates, razor SL or cults, roces 5th element, if you have flat feet. Just my opinion 🤷

Thanks brother ✌🏽 I reckon stick to your size. I only sized down because my size was on the cusp, in-between boot sizes. I kind of regret sizing down tbh, I can only skate the boot for 2 hours max then my feet hurt 😅

Never thought of the Sway as a “skinny boot”? 🤔I find it the exact opposite oddly, hence the bulky liner. I think of m12/Cult as skinny and this more on par with a Razor SL. Never tried Aeon and figured that was the narrower shell but maybe I’m wrong?

I consider them narrow in the arches but that's because I have flat feet 😅 if I can't skate a boot for more than 2 hours it's a no go for me.. the sways and mesmers I could only skate for an hour.. so for me, it's all how the boot is shaped around the heel and arches.. m12 ate slightly too narrow for me but cults felt abit better. I love the SL's. I really want to try rollerblade blanks 😁

I have been skating for about 7-8 years, ever since I was a little kid. I have been going out to the nearest skatepark recently and someone recommended to me that I should get into doing freestyle tricks. (I wasn't using aggressive skates, just regular ones) I looked into this whole tricking thing and I have got to know aggressive skates. I have decided that I want to buy one and I started digging further. I eyed out two skates: the USD Sway 60 and the USD Sway Team IV. I did some research and the only difference I saw between the two is the wheel size, the scale of the bearings and the colours. I think that the bigger wheels would be more suitable for a newcomer like me, so I would pick the Sway 60. Not to mention I prefer black over the white design of the Team IV. And also doing further research, it seems that local shops have less 57mm wheels to choose from, than 60mm wheels, so when I will replace my wheels I will have more options. Now I'm at the point of buying the Sway 60, but I would like to ask for any informations that have gone under my radar. Is there anything else to note, is something considerably better in the Sway Team IV than the Sway 60? Any information and advice is appreciated!

Hey bro, how's things? rad that you're keen on aggressive skates! Yeah go with the sway 60, like you say, you prefer black. Yes, the Sway team comes with 57mm wheels but they fit up 61mm wheels so when it comes time to buy new wheels just get whatever. If there's an actual shop you can go to, go and try on the skates and see how they fit your feet. There are different brands out there with different boots, and all the boots fit differently. All depends on the shape of your foot. If your feet are narrow, the sways will be all good but go half a size bigger just to be sure. Otherwise, Razor Cults or Roces M12 are classics too. But, if your feet are wider, you'll probably find these boots uncomfortable as they'll put to much pressure on parts of your foot. For wider feet try, Roces 5th Elements, Them skates, Razor SL's, USD Aeon's. I'm afraid for most people, there's no such thing as a "perfect" skate right out of the box... That's why there are so much after market items to customize and really dial in how you like your skates to feel. Like customizing cafe racer motor bikes, it's endless... if there's a shop near you, try and go. Even if its a few hours away, it'll be worth the mission and hopefully they're nice enough to really help you out. Where in the world are you? I'll do a google search

But unfortunately, Hungary is a little bit limited in inline skates, and other European shops are a bit more expensive. I really hope that the Sway 60 will fit me, because it's not expensive and it seems good for beginners.

The fit was nice (45-46 EU), I bought wrist protection and a helmet, and despite them being protection, they look lit as hell! And people say helmets ruin fashion... Dayum, I will try them asap! Yeah so I'd recommend.. roces 5ths, Razors SL. Thems 909/908 should also fit. Maybe even USD Aeons 🤷🏾‍♂️

I've always wanted to try out sways but I have the feeling that USD just re-branded the classic thrones in a new model and called them "sways". Correct me if I'm wrong tho cause if I am, I'm getting myself a pair ASAP.

kind of... from what understand, it's a boot that they use from powerslide "zoom" model. it's classed as their lower end urban/fitness skate boot. They've just reused the boot and whacked aggressive stuff on to it (soulplate, frames, etc). Not sure if they purposely changed the toe area to look like thrones but... it's a cool looking detail. To be honest I never liked the looks of thrones when they first came out, don't hate me, just my opinion... but I really like the look of they sways. Once again, just a personal preference. Some people prefer vans and others like cons ;)

The thrones and the sways are actually pretty different when you really look. The throne has a narrower heel and the shells are longer than the same size sway shell. The lacing cutout is a lot wider on the thrones shell and the list goes on. Also I found old thrones ugly as well 😬 I think the one piece soul plate that mesmer have made has made it look so much better!

Just got mines today im 8.5 and got the 8-9 and the liner is tight. Should I go up 10-10.5 or does a liner fix the problem?

Depends on what the size of your feet in millermetres (mondo).. you could risk it but.. My feet are 250 mm (mondo) and I was able to downsize to the 6-7 shell.. but my toes would get stubbed and I could only skate the boots for 1.5 hrs max.. I wish I didn't downsize, but that's just me 🤷🏾‍♂️

Sup bro, ok.. so I skated the size 6/7 boot in both skates. Sway has more arch support and was slightly shorter in length. But, toe box area was fine. I'd say people are right.. sway would be slightly wider. Get the new sway team skate that comes out soon, sounds like they've fixed alot of little issues with their boot. I'm gonna get a pair 😉

Sup bro, how's things? So the 57 comes with 57mm wheels, 60 - 60mm wheels. That's about it 🤷🏾‍♂️ the sway boot is a remodeled sway boot. The new sway boots have slight changes and newly designed soul plates. Get the newer models if you can ✌🏽

@CrazedMenace just go with the colour you like, I don't think it's really going to make a difference if you're going to customize your set up

I wear a size 8 shoe but down size my skates. I skated the 6/7 boot with a different liner.. found the boot slightly too small. So you find the boot to big or your feet?

@@ShredCitySkatesKelvW yes. I’m a 9.5 shoe and the 8-9 feels like there’s too much room. Heel slips quite a bit. I ordered some new liners in hopes the extra lacing will lock them in better, but I’m most likely going to hit my local-ish skate shop and get sized. Either that, or go ahead and order the 7-7.5 since I know I like the Sways.

These were recommended to me as one of the widest skates on the market. They're supposed to be up there with the Rollerblade RB series and the FR FR1. You're saying they're narrow and not good for wide feet? What are your foot dimensions?

Sup man, yeah they are great skates for their price point. For me, it's mainly my arches.. I have flat feet. About 11cm wide around my arches and 25cm long, so not great more me. But they are good skates

Get a heat gun and remold the middle of the outside of the skate. I have a permanent knuckle on the outside of my foot ( bottom bone of 5th metatarsal ) pressure points didnt happen or get noticed until a month of skating them. I can no longer out my feet in these exact skates.

As an avid sway fan I'd say if you really wanna see the forward flex try it with the liner it comes with. It's insane! I've actually put the new reign liner in mine and it stiffens it up a lot in comparison. Great looking skate in my opinion and great informative video 🤘 I don't know about you, but the black version looks crap to me where as in all white I think it looks sick!

@@ShredCitySkatesKelvW I like it. It's that thin high density foam (I think) stuff and it's got a really nice strong shaped tongue. The only thing I find a bit odd is cuz of how the tongue is attached further down the liner I find I get a bit of pressure on the top of my foot. Not painful or anything, just don't normally feel pressure there. At first I thought damn there's no comfort in these, cuz they felt really hard but when I actually skated them I didn't notice at all!

Sup bro. Hard to say, I've personally never skated shifts... skates are very personal choice 🤷🏾‍♂️ it all really depends on how the boot fits your feet, and how much cuff flex you like. From there you customize everything else to your own personal preference. The sway doesn't really work for me as my feet are to wide for the sway boot 😅 hobbit feet

Yeah! I have some Reign liners too and that was the first things that i felt. I have to sell my Sway because of my large feet, amazing skate but the Razors Sl was a way better fit for me. Aeon have a similar shape for the foot like the Sl, il could be a good options for the people who dont like Razors.

That's why I never tried razors again. Only thing I don't like about the Aeons is the fact is you can't change frames. But that's just a personal thing
