USD Sway // Powerslide Zoom // Review

Спорт

I do an in depth review on the USD Sway / Powerslide Zoom.
The Zoom / Sway is probably the most versatile skate ever created. With a simple adapter it can be changed between a Trinity mount frame or an aggressive set up. I go over the good and the bad about this shell and all the stuff in between. Overall I highly recommend this skate

    The white side bumper thingy on the red zooms. Mine is scratched now. So it has saved the skate from scratches. 👍👍👍

    Great video, from another big sway fan! I've got the farmer pro Sways and just yesterday I got the new all white 57 sway (white cuff and kizer 5 an all) They really are great boots and it's interesting you've picked up on some of the same things I've noticed. I never realised the buckle on the farmers was meant to be an upgrade, you're right they're flimsy as hell! Mine actually has broken and I've just got some nice metal FR buckles to fit on. You're right about the purple liner looking good, shame you didn't get on with it. I think I'm gonna be using it in my sway 57s as well tbf. Love the blading content, keep it up! Oh and you're right the new ones have cuff screws which is much better. I don't quite know why they're £30 more than last time though just with a different colourway and cuff bolts.

    Love your videos! i grew up on inlines. I loved Roces when i was younger. I have since gotten much older. and not the same scrawny guy i used to be. I wanna get back into skating and not sure that i wanna or can jump back into aggressive skating right away. just want a good skate to start with. what would you suggest for a now much bigger guy?

    I’ve got the zoom 100 that he has here with the my fit liner. ( not exactly same as the pro) it’s a great liner, quite thick,heat mouldable. It started off a little bit too stiff but broke in quickly ( 2 hours ) without heat moulding. It’s a sturdy liner that has caused no issues. I like it. If you have a larger foot for the skate size ( I am 44 in the 43/44) then it might feel tight. I doesn’t with me. Also I prefer it to be tighter than loose on a big wheel set up. Hope that helps you. All the best.

    I am a soon to be olderbiggerblader. I think I am sold on the zoom for my first skates. Have they held up to a heavier rider well? I am 6ft 280 and used to skate all the time 15-20 years ago.

  • @InlineDistrict

    @InlineDistrict

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@Katerman007 This is a hard question for me to answer... generally downsizing happens when you are in between shell sizes however this shell (44) and the medium intuition liner are both spot on for my foot (28.5 cm) measurements. So for me it's not downsizing it's just getting the right size for my foot.

    Any company that manufacturers skates and aftermarket liners... isn't that a conflict of interest? Why would USD or Razors put a premium liner in any skate that isn't a pro model if the goal is to get you to spend money to upgrade to a MyFit or Reign liner & now Them with their collab with Intuition. Thank God for Skate Shops like Oak City where you can customize your skate & pay for what you want & not pay for what you already know your going to replace.
