I bought the Halcyon's Nostromo resin kit around 20 years ago. It is still in the box, waiting to be mounted. Your Nostromo is even more detailed than Halcyon's kit. It is second to none. You have amazing skills and this video is a pleasure to watch. Thanks for sharing.

This ship is the modified version of the Lockmart CM-88B Bison, manufactured by Lock-Mart Industries... You would have saved yourself a lot of time if you had simply asked the factory for the build scheme of the ship 😉... But hey, anyway It's excellent work☺ __

Wow, it’s nice to come across a video like that! at a time when everyone is using 3D printing. (which is also practical in certain cases) Thanks also for the audio, I discovered some great ambient music that I'm going to listen to again later. And finally, congratulations for the video! I too am fascinated by the Nostromo and others like the Millennium Falcon or the Nebuchadnezzar :)

Still binge watch all the Aliens films on dvd mow and again. The still have it, the tension, and whats going to happen next. I`ve seen these film dozens of times! Bet you have a jacket with the crew patch on it. Stunning build.

I think this is the best form of Maker video, superb editing and filming. You have climbed a not insignificant personal mountain; no expensive injection molded kit would compare with either the artisan experience or the 3D beauty of the finish. This should be recommended viewing for all modelers. I applaud the 'up-cycling', there is so much waste plastic - no 3D printing required. Your fascination shows in every frame. Spectacular. I once built a 'cardboard city' for a bookshop window display - it demonstrated principle architectural styles and periods, at the top of one of the buildings, I put the unfinished architects garret, with one window. The model ended up at a Special-Needs school, where (I was told) a child who had not been engaged by anything before - took one look and 'flipped'. - Christchurch, New Zealand

Even with antigrav the ship still needs those massive air intakes to the engines to provide sufficient thrust for lift and for taking off. If the planet had too much dust in the atmosphere the ship could not land there since the engines will become damaged as it happened when they landed on Acheron which the planetoid was named years later.
