You should get your brain checked loser. UCLA is way better than whatever the fuck this trash they call USC.

Since my childhood youth, watching them every Saturday at 4pm on ABC, the best flight song and hottest college cheerleaders ever! USC used to score many touchdowns back in the day and you would hear that song every 10-15 minutes.

I have always been an Ohio State fan, but as a teen I always made sure to watch the USC UCLA game. Hot cheerleaders everywhere. hahaha

Do you mean the mystique of being the 2nd most sanctioned & penalized football program in NCAA history? USC is a dirty football program. By the way, USC has 9 recognized national titles in football, not 11. How in the world can you claim a national title in which the NCAA forced USC to forfeit all of its winning games? Also the BCS stripped USC of the 2004 national championship.

The most famous that travels around the world unlike the better boring bands from the other conferences.

Although I am not a USC fan unless they are playing ND, the marching band and song girls are the best in the nation to hear and watch!

DAMN this band and the song girls are such a disciplined well coordinated, thoroughly practiced team! They never stop moving, never stop working together. Every move flows into another, and even the moments when the Song GIrls are just waiting, they're busy. That move they make with the right hand going vertically up and down with the little knee bob always starts with them all together and ends with them togehter. Eveyrone has the right upper arm absolutely horizontal at one beat and vertical the next - no half measures. The knee dip is the same amount for everyone - as though it's been measured. Everything about this band is the same. An impressive performance.

This always brings a smile to my face. Fight On!

I miss playing in marching/pep band. My uni didn’t have football, but we did put a lot of emphasis on MBB, and I was a member of the Thundering Heard pep band at Grand Canyon.

I may be an Auburn fan and I love our fight song but there’s something about fight on that lifts my spirit after being beat down by Alabama for so long

Great memories of those Classic USC/Notre Dame battles on the 70’s

I was trying to figure out what they were chanting at the very end, and I think it is "Beat...the Rainbows...Beat...the Rainbows". They opened their 2012 season against the Hawaii Rainbows. They apparently do this "Beat" chant after "Fight On" at their pep rallies, and they just change the name for each opponent.

I definitely know usc is the cutest and beautiful St but every time I switch to ucla cheerleaders dance I am stuck in the middle I guess ucla,s soft blue to go with white and beige or hair and beautiful skin tanned tone really softens the blue more like fluffy blue I just love you both usc and ucla the same at this point but things can come to change my Texas team vote we will see I will let you all know as soon as changes or surprise comes.

I am an Alabama fan and proud dad of a graduate, but the fanfare USC's band does during their games is the best in college football. Someone please tell me the name. If they played Bama or Auburn down here, I would go for the bands as much or more as the games themselves.

They are called the Spirit of Troy. They are literally World renowned & considered one of; if not, the greatest NCAA Marching Band of all time. Still the only Marching Band to have a classic rock hit. Fleetwood Mac featured them in their song "Tusk"

ForeverFightOn4USC Thank you for that information. Tusk is one of my favorites. The University of Alabama's "Million Dollar Band" also bought the rights to use it, and it is awesome to hear in person. I definitely would not argue the quality of USC's band. I love to hear it, and hate that commentators have to run their mouths so much when all the bands could be featured more. I'm a big classic rock fan myself, but I had never thought about the fact USC is the only band to have a hit song that way.

USC beat Auburn at Aurburn with a freshman Matt Leinart. And the SEC doesn't schedule USC anymore after the beatdowns of Auburn and Arkansas.

Ray Reyes I am 68 and remember that. I also remember a series Alabama had with USC - I believe USC won out there and Alabama here. There is a lot of talk now about going back and scheduling some teams. I believe Nick Saban wants to schedule some inter-region games, especially with the new playoff system. Congratulations on the win over Notre Dame!

Ray Reyes Alabama leads the series with USC 5 to 2. They are scheduled to play in a couple of years in Dallas to open the season.

No PWI college band can compare to the musicianship, drill and ceremony, cheer & song, drum majors and Drumline of that than most if not ALL HBCU bands and spirit leaders. Only USC can and it’s still a large gap but USC’s precision, drum cadences, drill and ceremony is very very good
