Let me tell you how to set the boot priorities. Go to BIOS Features Select the USB on Boot Option #1 then choose the storage you want on Boot Option #2 If your menu wouldn't be same with my video, send me screen shot of yours. comonkei@gmail.com

What do you press to change the priority? You click on boot option #1 and the options appear? Or you press a botton

hello, sorry for the late response. can you check the precedure to change vram on the bios? Chipset - integrated graphics : auto -> forces, uma mode : auto -> uma specified, uma frame buffer size : auto -> select the size you want.

For my case USB option is not come during boot, but after selecting F12 options of the boot appeared so no I am planning to make a separate drive for the Windows setup file to boot directly from HDD, Thanks for your video

Even if the board is the same, the BIOS settings may vary depending on other devices installed. If your device is set up like that, your solution is correct.

A few day ago,there was 3 boot option... But there is showing only one boot option in my gigabyte H61M-S2PU REV 2.2 & that's why my PC can't open.. So how can I make 3 boot option?pls help

Hi guys I have a question just brought this motherboard gigabyte GA-H61M-DS2 I have put i7 3770 and rx 570 8gb when I plug usb flash drive nothing happens just black screen and all I see is the cusor cannot click anything soon as I take usb flash drive out it boots into bios it search's for my hard drive so I know it's picking that up only thing I can think of is bios update I noticed in this video you have f12 bios I looked on mine and it's f4 you think this is why the pc won't boot from the usb?

the reason not to boot with your usb might be next situation. 1.check whether the usb is bootable -> put the usb into the other pc then you can find out that the storage is fine to work 2.see that the usb priority is the highest rank of your storages 3.cmos clear if above 1 and 2 are not solution

@@leerizzardo960 hi mate yea the usb flash drive works on my pc mate as I put windows on mine like 2 weeks ago so I know it works also its fat32 format and this is my lads pc I've built for him for xmas just what I can afford budget build also I have gone into bios and put it as boot #1 then boot #2 as my hard drive when I put usb in the screen just goes blank and nothing happens when I turn pc off and take usb flash drive out I can get back in bios also if I don't click delete to get in bios it says please select boot device then press any key to continue only thing I can think of it to update bios to f8 as it's on f4 which is really old version I think that might help with the reading of the usb flash drive as it says on gigabyte website that it fixes boot device

It didn't work, I set it up as first priority but it won't boot from the USB. There is only a blinking line on the top left. Any suggestions? I'm using a Gigabit B450M motherboard.

Let's think about your situation. please check in this way. first, is the USB you've tested in your motherboard bootable device ? please try that the USB can be booted in the other system. second, please check that the board is no problem to boot with another USB device. third, please describe what the "blinking line" is. is it just line or some sentence ? will be more helpful if you capture the screen.

Hello, how many storage devices are connected in the computer? well please check the other device can be detected on the first option which means cables and the other devices need to be identified. this kind of method is called "crosschecking". this action would be the first finding whether any symptom remains in your system.

@@Jiren_Corleone hello, go to the Gigabyte homepage then type the model name you have on search bar. firstly download "chipset driver" and install it, after that downloading the rest of drivers . hope it can be helpful.

The BIOS version does not determine UEFI or BIOS booting, but rather depends on the motherboard specifications including CPU/Chipset to tell whether it is supported or not. First, check to see if UEFI booting is possible in the current Windows by using the following command: In the Run window opened with WinKey+R, type "msinfo32" and check "BIOS Mode" in the "System Summary" item. Legacy -> BIOS / UEFI -> UEFI Hope this helps.

In my case, the Boot Option #2 and #3 disappeared. How can I see it again?

If you remove the usb from the computer after installing windows, don't need to change the boot order. The BIOS will automatically set the first priority as a SSD or HDD. hope everything goes well.

@@dianawar7263 Ok, first of all, remove all dust in the computer. especially RAM and FAN. and try to verify the SATA cable connected to the hard drive. If the computer does not come back to life after doing the above, unplug the cable and plug it back in and cmos clear If it still doesn't work, I recommend you to upgrade the BIOS and repair the motherboard.

Can you check your situation with below procedure ? Here's the scenario that the boot option couldn't be seen on your bios menu. 1. Bios version would be the old one so try to update with new one 2. The drive connected to the computer, such as HDD, SSD, or USB pendrive, is not recognized or seems to not operate normally due to an error. So, connect the storage device to another computer and check if it is recognized normally. 3.If the problem is not resolved after the above steps, try resetting cmos. The method is in this channel, so check it out

can you check that 1. USB whether it is readable on the other computer 2. The other usb should be tried in your pc 3. Insert the usb into usb 2.0 port

Simple option just use boot menu no need to go to bios because after that you will have to repeat again to set hdd as first boot

Yes, you can set the boot device by simply pressing the boot menu shortcut (gigabyte: F12), but it may be difficult to determine if the computer has the same type or multiple boot devices connected, so it would be better to go into the BIOS and select the boot device. Sorry for late response. please try to find below situation. 1.Go to the 'Peripherals' tab then click 'USB Configuration'. find out 'Enabled' for 'Legacy USB support. 2.Go to 'Hard Drive Priorities' then check the USB is the first in the list. hope it could be helpful.

In your case, the pc doesn't seem to recognize the storages which are mounted on your system. so please check that way. 1.Connect to another computer to see if the storage devices are working properly. 2.if the storages are good function, please do the cmos clear for your motherboard. 3.if above actions are not solution, the motherboard might be repaired.

You followed the video but it doesn't work. There are several reasons why Windows cannot be installed via USB. 1. Whether there is a problem when burning the Windows 10 operating system to USB 2. Check the partition method mbr or gpt 3. Whether the usb has a normal function 4. USB port 2.0 or 3.0/3.1? 5. Storage device function error (Depending on the PC, it may not boot from the USB 3.0/3.1 port, etc.) There may be reasons other than the above, but please check the above items one by one.

If you have the same BIOS version, you will see the same screen. If not, it is likely that there is a problem with the BIOS. In this case, try clearing the CMOS. In other words, remove the battery or short the "CLRTC" or similar CMOS header and try again.

Primeiro, verifique se o USB é reconhecido. depois disso Reinsira o sistema operacional a ser instalado no USB e tente novamente. Tente também desabilitar a opção de inicialização segura no menu BIOS. There are two ways to enable tpm on the motherboard. 1.Gigabyte Motherboards with an AMD Processor Please go to "Advance Mode" (Press F2) and go to “Settings” a “Miscellaneous” or “Peripherals” and select “AMD CPU fTPM”. Set it to “Enabled”. 2.Gigabyte Motherboards with an Intel Processor Please go to "Advance Mode" (Press F2) and go to “Settings” a “Intel Trusted Technology (PPT)” and Set it to “Enabled”.

If you can only boot from a bootable USB, it sounds like there are two problems with your computer. The problem appears to have occurred because the first boot device is not recognized or is recognized but the boot file required for booting is damaged. Therefore, check whether the boot device is recognized in the BIOS menu and if there is no problem, try reinstalling the operating system.

when chinese people invented graphical bios, it will not boot properly even from original windows 10 usb flash. Every new pc now have graphical bios at it makes me sick.

Hello, check the following USB is recognized properly - verify on another computer Check whether the computer USB port is recognized - Try recognizing the verified USB in another device If you have created the Windows installation disk in MBR format on USB, you need to enable "Legacy option" in BIOS. for not readed the usb in your computer, need to check many reason. first of all, verify whether the usb was inserted into usb 3.0 port. because some mobo can't read the usb on that port. then check secure boot option - disable in bios. and also test that the usb would be readable in the other pc. hope everything goes well.
