Loool its the fact that Bolt now retire, and Degrasse finally got the gold. So proud of him. Lol. Like he always feel honoured running next to Usain. In 2021 he did that he got the Gold 200m.

@@Friendss really it should have been Blake but injuries or something else must have gone really wrong since bolt retired really Blake and 2 other sprinters were not on bolts level but regularly running 9.7s Blake for some reason dropped way off
So lucky to have seen him in 3 Olympics live. My first memory of Olympics was athens 04. Saw Bolt break the record live in 08 in Beijing. What a sportsman.

Usain Bolt starts the celebration before reaching the finishing line by slowing down the speed in his individual races, while in relay he doesn't slow down,if he go straight he can make better world records

He doesn't start slow His start became slow because of his height. He is comparatively taller than all of his competitions. Then his strides do the job.

No, the real reason for Bolt starting slow. Is solely because he used to false start alot in the early stages of his career.

Records were made to be broken...that's true, that's progress. However, statistically, none of the current crop are on target to break the existing 100m & 200m records. I'm basing this on two things, (a) the rate of progress in these two events ever since we started recording times and (b) the performances of these athletes vs Bolt at the same age.

When Usain gets a good start you're fucked because he almost never has the best start of all the sprinters on the track but when he gets into his running he just starts flying by people. It'll look like he's going to finish 4th then all of a sudden he starts jogging the last 20m and wins because his top speed was enough to just start cruising by everyone.
