You buy an airband scanner and upload the frequencies to it from a file

Listening to the tower is one thing, listening to the other frequencies is another. You're basically eavesdropping. It's not right.

Dont get your point here, if you can listen do it, dont care if you think its bad form as the transmissions through the air can be picked up by many devices, any aircraft can restrict transmission or views on apps, the fact they are not may tell you something, they want everyone to know.
