Well, Ethiopia would disagree but it is always us beating the world. We are second to none (with the Ethiopians). @Ray Flores, ....and we have a great coach, one PAUL BUSIENEI BITOK, In his days, he was arguably the best volleyballer in kenya. He disagreed with our federation, got hired by Rwanda and took them far. He built their volleyball programme. Now he is back! The value of something is seldom known until it is lost.

The Kenyan setter has a nice touch!

@Omat Vargas, Her name is Janet Wanja (number 7). She retired this year. She is 35. She was in the Kenyan Olympics team in Athens as a 20 year old. she won't be in Tokyo though but her sisters will represent her well.

So the World Cup has started.

Love my Kenyans for showing up and playing despite all odds. No money, second jobs, corrupt federation, lack of facilities for high school, college and league teams. The list goes on, but they can at least compete and hope that one day teams like USA will show the way forward. Living in the US has taught me how sports is important and management of sports in general. USA team has great concentration and technique.

The Kenyans need to train hard on their serving... a few flat powerful serves puts the opponents under pressure and gives you cheap points as well...

Kenya has high flyers and strong spikers. But I noticed that they lack floor defense. I mean, most of the time they’re scrambling. Nevertheless, I can still see the enjoyment in every game they play and that’s what really matters.
