I noticed that too.

People will try to belittle this performance by the U.S.A.. Because of their opponent. But anytime you score 7 goals in an International game. It's to be praised! This is exactly what this young American squad needs. Learning how to be clinical with their chances. Developing chemistry with their teammates. And building confidence as a team. Well done!

the keeper was at fault for 5th goal but made a wonderful save in 76th minute, defense at fault for 7th goal but they were tired defending on their heels all game. they played courageously against a nearly full strength american attack, well done grenada

People are going to try and downplay this "you're supposed to score a bunch on Grenada" yeah.... You're SUPPOSED to. Last time they had a super sluggish start under Gregg and had only scored one before half. Plus this is our first ever 11 with no MLS players in it at all, another interesting bit of growth. This is a team that's more free and attacking and that's progress. They could have had even more. Remember a, no offense, lowly Trinidad and Tobago kept us out of the 2018 world cup. We need to be burying these teams without an inch of wiggle room. Good job USMNT.

As a Mexican, I assure you that we don't occupy Zendejas in the national team, we have more good players. We have many players from the USA who preferred to play with Mexico and who are currently breaking it like Julian Araujo. Zendejas is not going to progress no matter how much he plays in the USA.

Mexico needs to figure out how to develop their players in the biggest leagues instead of keep them all in Mexico. Don't worry about Zendejas. Worry about how Mexico can keep the US from getting to far ahead of them. So far the US keeps getting better and Mexico doesn't.

Concacaf's most dangerous selection, Granada. It was critical that the United States win and then withdraw, as a Granada explosion is inevitable.

Yes, they were playing Grenada. But when you don't micromanage every single aspect of the game and let these young talented creative players go out and play this is the kind of result you get. GGG would have gone up 2 nil and called in to play bunker ball. Then again, he was fairly allergic to actually winning away from American soil so who know, it may have been a draw. Not saying that this is a good manager running things in the interim, just that he is letting the boys actually play how they play and we got a better result against Grenada away from home than we did at home under GGG.

A lot can happen with the squad without the drama. 😉

Let's hope that Aaronson and McKennie can repeat the result against Arsenal next weekend.
