Love to see new faces from any team But to be honest USA young players never disappointed

Carlini and Van Ryk went from being teammates in Turk Hava Yollari to playing against each other in Nations League. It's good to see Carlini again in the US national team. I hope that she will be included in Paris Olympics.

This announcer is excellent. Nice pleasant, natural vocal quality, and simple, straight-forward play-by-play commentary. He's the opposite of annoying and unqualified (like most aspiring volleyball announcers).

Bring Morgan Hentz back as libero please, that back row is all over the place and messy. Would love to see what Jenna Gray can do with the middles.

Haha I like Kingdon and Bajema. But ultimately it's going to come down to serve receive so that the middles can be run and the back row quick is effective.

Poulter earned the starting spot during the lead up to the Olympics. She probably still has the starting position and Coach Kiraly is trying to see who his back-up should be. The back-up position was in contention between Hancock and Carlini before Tokyo, and Coach Kiraly went with Hancock for Tokyo. I don't know why, but that was his decision. Hancock didn't have the best season with Novara, so I wonder if Kiraly is simply choosing the better veteran in Carlini in this situation to play backup to Poulter. Maybe Hancock can earn the position back over the course of VNL.

Poulter was injured in the middle of the season in Italy so she has to recover for a few months. She is now fully recovered but they are not rushing her. She will be back in the latter part of the VNL.
