I could watch this for centuries and still get teary with the emotion and passion the boys put in this Cup Final, Alafoti, Afa, Paul, Faatoina, Alatasi etc all hearts to put in a performance that will be remembered for years.

One of the best 7s game i ever watched and I'm Fijian.

I gotta had it to Samoa.... with the likes of NZ having all the resources in the world available to them and the game being taught its proper fundamentals at a very young age to go up against the Samoan based players who barely afford to travel to these tournaments let alone have much if anything to pay these boys..... hats off to Samoa...midget size country with lion size hearts.... from your tongan brothers

A significant thing about this game was Alafoti scored the first try and the last try. Should have kept him on the sevens squad permanently..

Nah, New Zealand is better (I'm half samoan). The Stats show us New Zealand have a winning record against Samoa in 7's and not to mention the 78-0 match in 15's this year.

J.Malaulau, what does that have to do with this 7s game? I bet if NZ were as small as Samoa, no way NZ could win a thing. Samoa is the smallest and poorest nation to win not just a global tourney but an entire series. Many old time big nations haven't even won a global competition.

Who's we? are you talking about the mixture of Islanders like Tongans, fijians, cook islanders and Samoan players in the All Blacks? Wether or not all blacks beat Tonga, or Samoa or Fiji it doesn't count until NZ actually get their own heritage to play for their own team instead of taking the best poly players and giving credit to NZ for it. Let all those star fob players leave and watch as NZ start declining in the world rankings Lmao.
