I respect my small Sebenza 31. I love my Hinderer XM-24 Bowie at about $600. I have two custom Marfiones. Nothing bad to say about them. But personally, I'm not sure what to be happy about with them. I am happy with them for sure. I'm ignorant though of finer points. And for emphasis: XM-24 Bowie is just astounding to me. Compared to the rest of my collection, mostly production mid range. XM-24 Bowie. Hands down, the most satisfaction I have experienced. So far. These are all great knives. No question. XM-24 Bowie. For me, it's it.

I agree that the G-10 AD-20 in materials alone doesn't feel like $425, but the fit and finish and innovation is there to make up for it IMO. And definitely agree, my gen 6 skinny XM-18 feels every bit as high quality as my Inkosi, arguably even more value.

Having several Demko knives and having handled many of the knives on the list I can say I appreciate all of these knives and would love to have any/all of them, but dollar for dollar demkos dominate my pocket. I handled the arch nemesis, had the money, had every intention, but didn’t pull the trigger. I didn’t pull the trigger on any knives at blade tx. My grails now are knives that will actually kick a ti 20.5 or the DemBowie, or my vc edge interface out of pocket. Haven’t found one yet.

Perfect list . Couldn't agree more . I think everyone should own a ad 20 . If I'm bugging out and can have only 1 knife in my collection that's it . and before that I would have said my ad 15 though other than playing with them when I'm in my knife case I don't think I've carried it once since getting my ad 20 . But the 15 makes me smile . Although I've never touched the arch nemesis the only thing I would put on that lvl would be a frank Fischer. But at that point of craftsmanship it goes back to really what floats your boat aesthetically . Edit if I had to add 1 to the list of us made blades that could have been on the list Spartan Blades Harsey

Having owned Strider, Hinderer, and CRK, there is no doubt that all 3 are cool. I liked the SNG ok but I sold it. Didn't have the love for it. CRK is super nice but definitely simplistic. I sold my Umnumzaan, kept my small seb 31. Can't really deny that Hinderer brings the heat and the triway system is great! I have an xm-18 and a firetac. Both are triway. The xm is on bearings, the firetac is on Teflon. Both have excellent actions.

I have only one comment on the hinderer vs crk issue. Crk comes full titanium at ~450. Hinderer comes stock with g10 on every base model for 425. For the extra 25 to get full titanium? Definitely would say crk takes the cake for me. And Hinderer's qc has majorly dropped off. They come almost as dull as butter knives from the manufacturer (has been tested), and their actions aren't as great as they were with older generations. Also seems to be more issues with lock stick on newer generations.

You claim that the Demko "Shark lock" is the strongest lock on a folder. I definately need to see your "proof" and solid testing that backs up that statement. With Tri Ad locks, plunge (button) locks, cross bar locks (Axis type), and several others, you would settle an interesting question as to which locking system is the "strongest". But please include more than your opinion, and present the scientific, repeatable proof of your statement, OR admit that you expressed your OPINION and there probably are stronger folding knife locking mechanisms out there, and you are just expressing your personal opinion without any facts to back up that statement. Your opinion is valued to the subscribers and viewers of your channel, but issues such as the sharpest edge, type of steel, lock strength and indestructiblity are questions that can be measured, as those Dutch Boys and Cold Steel & others have shown.
