So many military members suffering with PTSD and horrible injuries like missing limbs and all for completely nothing. The Taliban is three times stronger now than they were before the war started in 2001, when i think about it it makes my blood boil. Trillions of tax payer dollars completely gone, but if a tax payer cheats on their taxes and owes the IRS they will find that person and they either pay or go to prison, while the government can waste our tax money anyway they like and they don't get punished at all, they basically threw out trillions of dollars for a useless 20 year war that actually made the situation much worse than it was before.

🇷🇺 Russian and 🇨🇳 Chinese military equipment is different from 🇺🇲 US and 🇪🇺 European equipment. US and European made equipment (which is what the US and NATO gave to the former 🇦🇫 Afghan government) generally are more high maintenance and need specialized parts and components that are only made in the US and Europe. Adding to that, the former Afghan military actually needed American civilian contractors and specialists to help maintain and train them in maintaining and repairing their US made aircraft. Trying to use Chinese equipment on an American military vehicle or aircraft is like trying to put a 🇯🇵 Toyota engine into a 🇺🇸 Chrysler car 🚗. It's not compatible.

@@trekkienzl2862As for the equipment, here it looks like minor damage and can be easily repaired. Screens, wiring and basic equipment. It doesn't look like damage that would render the vehicle useless. As for the technology I'm pretty sure China has their own versions of every piece of tech this has, they can even modify it and install their own technology which may be even better. Software isn't used much in ground vehicles compared to planes but it can be cracked just like an engine ECU mod. Components can be easily replicated using the working models. A lot of it can be reverse engineered if China doesn't have or doesn't want to make an alternative.

@@despareint yes! The way the CIA delt with eagle base. They literally burnt down even the aks they had. On Taliban patrol of the base just showed how they were butt hurt by the distruction. The army did a horrible job with all these deactivating stuff they were throwing around.

@kid funky fri THANK YOU! That's how you "destroy" a piece of equipment. Hell, even putting a rag in the fuel tank and lighting it on fire would do more damage than this crap! This is ridiculous, they barely disabled anything. I'm glad we finally left there, but I'm pissed we gave the enemy so much equipment and munitions. A thermite or even a frag would've destroyed the various munitions we left behind. Are Battalion or Regiment Commander's that stupid these days? Just unbelieveable. I was in Motor T in the USMC during Desert Storm. Something tells me you were in the Army. The Corps was too cheap to provide thermite grenades and for a rag we were expected to use our t-shirt. (Jk) That war was a lot different though. Short, sweet and to the point like they all should be. Thank you for your service.

Right now though we have poor political leadership in this country and so consequently a lot of decisions that are made for awhile are potentially going to be screwed up. The US is really an awesome country capable of doing many things no other country could either match or do first. Our past achievements speak for themselves. If you want details, look it up in the history books. I will admit however, that given the current administration, who knows what screw up will happen next. But that fault lies soley on Biden and tbe Democratic Party, not the USA. People from all over the world want to live here plus the fact that we are a major super power. That alone should give you a clue as to how assinine your comment makes you look.

But the Americans can't just say they are giving those systems to the Taliban, so they will pretend to cause a little damage first.

The weird part is that after the debacle, military is asking for more funding for the next war.
