I have a friend who works at Barksdale Air Force base home of the B52 strategic nuclear force. I live in the flight path for the air base. He told me you'll know when we're at DEFCON 2 because every B52 in Barksdale will be loaded with nuclear ordinance and launched into the skies where they will then start flying strategic patterns around North America. And are Allied nations being refueled in the air. Or landing at airports to be refueled and then flying straight back up. So if I ever hear the entire division of B 52's fly over my head out of Barksdale at the same time, I know we're in serious trouble.😅
