Leopards and Abrams and Challangers have been practicing together all the time during the first Cold War (1980's-1990's) in Western Germany

USA is member of NATO , so isn't a Pleonasm to write / say "US & NATO" ?

Electricreach Hello! Russian ignorant! Your T-90 it's worth nothing that the Indian army complained as he is crap and the Chief of staff of the army asked for the Leopard 2 in place. That's going to take five years to Armata being deployed in its army, with already detected defects to troubleshoot and train crews. Without forgetting the stagflation of your country which will worsen with the sanctions of the West. Only with china and Bolivarian won't do.

Carl Miester what a naive statement. when this second cold war get's hot, we Europeans die first. Also all these tanks you swear by will burn up in a nuclear winter. The US has already proven that they don't give a fuck about hundred thousands innocent people dying in a nuclear strike, with all the long term consequences. When it really comes to war the it's all over for us. Just because the US pushes the NATO frontline more and more to the east (to Russia) by putsching Nazis to power in the Ukraine.

In total NATO and US armored build up includes 250 M1A2 Abrams tanks, 200 Leopard 2s and 300+ tanks of other ally countries. Russia has 450+ T-90m MBTs and 0 Armatas ready for service.

it's not all about ground troops and tanks these days it's about assets at your desposal and it's assets like Usa ,Germany and prowed to say UK and the rest of NATO that'll no dout put a stop to it . but people are to quick to criticize when in the past how many country's have relied on USA UK Germany and the rest of NATO country's for help and support think... plus everybody knows that the UK is a forse to be reckoned with history is proff history doesn't lie.

Johann Schmidt a hit the side of the hull could immobilize, cripple or even destroy an Abrams or a Leopard. You guys think 60mm(tops) + 100mm ballistic side skirts) will stop a 128 mm shells to enter the fighting compartment? Leopard 2 DK in this case side skirts arent thicker than 50 mm and cover 3/4 for the side hull. The side hull itself is not much thicker than 60 mm. A 128 mm shell penetrating Into the ammunition storage of the Leopard 2 will most likely lead to the catastrophic destruction of the Leopard 2 (any version). You guys dont seem to have a clue about the armor profiles of modern tanks.
