US "Feared World War" If Iran Blamed Raisi Crash On Israel, Russia: Sanctions "Put Lives At Risk"

US officials initially feared the helicopter crash that killed President Ebrahim Raisi on May 19 could trigger a new world war, Politico reported. There were concerns Tehran might blame Washington and Israel for the incident, a source told Politico. A helicopter carrying Raisi and his entourage went down on May 19 in the country’s northwestern East Azerbaijan province. Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian was also traveling with Raisi. The president was returning from a meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Ilham Aliyev, after they inaugurated a major dam project on the border.

A pilot should never fly a helicopter in icy, rainy, foggy, and low visibility conditions or bad weather for safety reasons. Poor weather conditions can significantly impair the pilot's ability to maintain visual contact with the ground and other aircraft, increasing the risk of collisions or accidents. Specifically, ice can accumulate on the helicopter's rotor blades and airframe, disrupting aerodynamics and potentially causing loss of control. Heavy rain reduces visibility and can also affect the helicopter's performance. Fog and low visibility make it difficult for the pilot to navigate and avoid obstacles. Thunderstorms present additional hazards like turbulence, wind shear, and lightning strikes that could damage or destabilize the helicopter. The Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) set minimum weather requirements for helicopter operations under Visual Flight Rules (VFR). For example, helicopters cannot fly VFR when the visibility is less than 1/2 mile during the day or 1 mile at night. They must also remain clear of clouds and maintain specific cloud clearances based on altitude and airspace class. Violating these minimums significantly increases the risks of spatial disorientation, loss of control, and collisions.

@@nlorand9033 Oil rigs in the North Sea off Scotland frequently experience harsh weather with low visibility due to fog, rain, and wind. oil rig operations in poor weather conditions. Helicopters designed for Iran and Norway do not necessarily differ significantly in their core design and capabilities. However, there are a few potential differences based on the operating environments and requirements: Cold weather operations: Helicopters used in Norway may be better equipped for operating in extreme cold temperatures, with additional heating systems, anti-icing equipment, and insulation to protect critical components. Iran's climate is generally warmer, so this may not be as critical a requirement. Night/low visibility operations: The helicopter carrying Iran's president lacked modern transponders or navigation aids for low visibility conditions. Norwegian helicopters likely have more advanced avionics and sensors to operate safely in Arctic conditions with long periods of darkness. Maintenance and parts availability: Due to sanctions, Iran has faced challenges in obtaining spare parts and maintaining its aging fleet of American-made helicopters like the Bell 212. Norwegian operators can more easily access maintenance support and spare parts from manufacturers. Indigenous production: Iran has attempted to reverse-engineer and produce its own versions of foreign helicopters to overcome sanctions and parts shortages. Norway likely relies more on procuring new aircraft from major manufacturers. While the fundamental helicopter designs may not differ drastically, Norwegian operators can take advantage of more modern avionics, better cold weather capabilities, reliable parts supply chains, and likely have better maintenance practices compared to Iranian operators hampered by sanctions and isolation. The key differences stem from the operating environments and geopolitical factors rather than core helicopter engineering.

@@annyo4855 The helicopter crash that killed Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi and several other high-ranking officials appears to have been caused by rapidly deteriorating weather conditions during their return journey from Azerbaijan. The weather was clear when Raisi's convoy, including three helicopters, departed for Azerbaijan to inaugurate a dam project with President Ilham Aliyev. On the return flight to Tabriz, the helicopters encountered heavy fog, rain, and strong winds in the mountainous region near the Azerbaijan border. One of the helicopters, a Bell 212 carrying Raisi, Foreign Minister Amirabdollahian, and others, crashed in the Dizmar forest due to the poor visibility and challenging weather conditions. Search and rescue efforts were hampered by the dense fog, making aerial searches impossible initially. The wreckage was eventually located the next day after an extensive ground search. While the official cause is still under investigation, the sudden change in weather from clear skies to heavy fog and rain in the mountainous terrain appears to be the primary reason behind the tragic crash. Human error or mechanical failure due to the aging helicopter cannot be ruled out either.

Those fake Iranian ministers are killing good Persian people. Only thing good for Iran is their Shah back with his rules and policies. Are you even following what is going on, on the ground there or what ? Hilarious! Just because you hate the US you think those Ministers from Iran are the good guys huh ? In politics almost no one is good, it's a very hard game of chess we cannot even comprehend

Maybe because some very low IQ folks were attempting to point the finger at the Great Satan, but unfortunately didn’t have any evidence to support their accusations. But on the topic of Nord 2, Russia blamed the US, then UK, then Germany, then Sweden. At the time of the explosion, Russia had 7 Naval ships in the area and a number of Submarines, so surely they could have blown it up as well “to teach Europe a lesson”, just as Russia targets civilian infrastructure in Ukraine including the destruction of dams. But perhaps that was the great satan as well 😂🤣

Poor ukraine was devastated but the offender also suffer almost everything they have gain, they did not expect the world will aid ukraine and the invasion is the worst planned made by Kremlin, when they attack georgia the world only watching and when they attacked ukraine in 2014 the world also watching and they expect nobody can stop mother Russia but now its a pain and even the war stopped it will takes decades to recover.

The West created the modern world and thats not even that good of a thing but it's the very reason it all starts with the West every time: The West (was) (almost) always ahead of the rest of the world with tech, and with tech comes newly developed power ready to unleash
