They banned Twitter, Google, Facebook, KZread and many other websites and apps for the same reasons. And they are calling others for over reaction.. 😂

not true, the fact is these companies refuse to obey the law of China which require them to establish independent servers in China. To the contrary, TikTok has been complying with all the laws of the US and Canada.

Thanks for this kind of lesson. You are the first real native English that I can really understand. Clearly understand. Generally, I cannot. And use subtitle for the translate. Or just avoid the English native speaker because the accent is hard for understand. For the news... Well I think it's no sense. It's ok purge tiktok. But also KZread (or block a lot of channel), Facebook (the private one), Snapchat, WhatsApp (private WhatsApp) I think that's right. They MUST do it. For not for security. Not because this app/Web site is dangerous. No, just for avoid that people do private stuff and chat during the work. I think it's normal to that. Why the government do it only now?

That won’t work, unless you ban the app from being on any network in the Americas, you’re not going to see any difference whatsoever because the apps know how to hop around. For instance, the people in govt may not have the apps on their phones or network, BUT when they leave their employment and say go home to where other devices are actively using the app, if they are connected to the same network or internet, the app can harvest data and interact with any device that the users phone can see. This applies to walking around in public with the countless home and business networks that the phones can pick up. Unless you completely ban the app from the country and stop treating the app like refugees, and physically and metaphysically remove them from the country, nothing will change. You know how I know this? Because I have never even had tick-tock, and this has been going on far longer than the invention of tick tick. BUT just like the fossil fuel industry, the government profits from corruption in all forms and they will not do anything unless people in their building start dropping like flies. Bye 👋
